Empyreal Updates -- Tray Models, Art Gallery, and Timelines. Pledge Manager closes next week!
Progress continues to move along for Empyreal, and our Creative Team has been working non-stop to finalize the press kit for this extremely ambitious project. We're building the plan for the box right now, and we're excited to show you some of the progress we have so far on the game's storage trays.
Disclaimer: These are still early renders, so please hold your suggestions for a little while longer. We'll have more previews very soon to show off candidates for inclusion in the box, then we'll make sure to collect feedback on the final designs.
It's a little difficult to get the whole picture on this white background, so here are a few more renders of the trays in action:
Nokomento is now powering through the backer-designed specialists. Here's a look at what's been finished up recently!
Concept Art Gallery
Shaz is our concept artist, and is working his way through the character sheets for the remaining art pieces. Here's a look at how those come together and then go to approval for our backers:
Due to the extra time that it's taken to finish up backer-created specialists and the extra captains, it seems unlikely that we will make our target press deadline of February. This may impact delivery and push us back a little bit further on delivery of the final game. However, we will keep you apprised of the complete situation in these updates, so please keep checking this space monthly for more news.
While I'm disappointed about delays, I do believe that the variety of gameplay added by the extra captains and specialists will be worth this wait, and I hope that you'll agree. Thanks so much for your patience as we continue working full steam on the project.
Pledge Manager Closes Next Week
In order to start finalizing our factory order, we need to go ahead and close up the Pledge Manager soon. Make sure you fill out your pledge manager in the next week! We'll also be sending out reminders via email, so keep your eyes open for those.
Our latest project, Millennium Blades: Collusion, is live now!
On a separate front, our Development Team and artist Fábio Fontes have been busy at work on Millennium Blades: Collusion. Millennium Blades is a board game about a group of friends who play a trading card game, which is also called Millennium Blades. It's great, wacky fun and the latest KS is a great chance to own the whole series in one fell swoop. If you want to learn a bit about this new project, you can check it out here:
I hope to see you there!
