What's in store for BattleCON?

We've passed our kickstarter goal twice over! The second time happened in only a week, so the sky's the limit or so it seems. I decided to come up with a reward that wouldn't force me to come up with new rewards later on, so they are (yes, there are multiple!)

For every $1000 we get above $12,000, a new piece of large artwork will be included in the game. Each piece of artwork will feature two characters from the game doing battle in high resolution. These will be used as box arts, in the rule book, and in promotions.

If we get to $18,000, I will go ahead and produce Takeshi as a fourth kickstarter promotional character. This means that every reward that says 'all the characters from the video' will also include a copy of Takeshi. Rewards that allow you to pick one of the characters will include Takeshi as an optional choice.

Finally, if anyone buys the third and final 'Game Designer Pack' reward for $1,500, I will match them by putting one final character into the game box (so we can have an even number available). I'll announce this final character if/when the final Game Designer Pack is purchased.

Thanks so much to everyone who has backed up the project and made this game a reality. I started out thinking of BattleCON as 'my game', but I've realized through this project that it's really our game. All of you who have followed the project, who have gotten excited, and who have contributed with money, opinions, time, and energy share in the most important part of the game. I had always hoped that BattleCON was a game I could offer to the gaming community to make what they would of it. It seems like that vision is truly becoming a reality.

So thanks to all of you who've backed this project up. I can't wait to make it all happen!

hahaha, well, we have to collect the money at one point or another, or we'll never actually print the game! XD
I'll still be collecting pre-orders after the fact, but this is the only place to get all the kickstarter bonuses!

It seems a shame about the deadline. Things really seem to be trucking along lately. Too bad he can't like extend the deadline another week. Can he?

Miniatures is a great idea. Especially if they would be chibi versions ;)

I can't wait to have a copy of this game! If only you could get miniatures of the characters made, maybe of the quality of like Heroscape minis.
