Welcome to the Library, and Rules for NOIR

Wow, things have really taken off fast! Thanks to everyone who's helped us make it to over 20% in the first 3 days! I expected that I would have a week or so before Early Bird rewards sold out, and so I could use the time to make some demo videos before the project started getting a lot of attention. Little did I know XD

I was hoping to have the how-to-play video for NOIR ready today, but time was not on my side, so I've only managed to post up the rulebook. I'll try to get the video online sometime during this weekend.

Please continue to tell friends about the project and spread the word! It also helps if you like and share our facebook page too: http://www.facebook.com/Level99GamesMinigameLibrary

Feel free to post any questions here that you want answered about the games or the collection. I'm really excited about delivering you guys some great games in a lightweight, portable format (and it looks like some of you are pretty excited too :D).

Take a look at NOIR's rules, and you'll get an idea of the variety and replayability that you'll get in every game in the collection!

Happy Gaming!

- Brad

Here's the Rulebook: http://www.lvl99games.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/NOIR-Rulebook1.pdf

PS: It is possible to prototype NOIR with two decks of playing cards that have different backs--just take out all the clubs and diamonds from both decks, as well as one joker from each deck. These two reduced decks form the innocent and suspect decks. While not as thematic or easy to play with as the double-sided NOIR 'face cards', this will let you test out the mechanics and get an idea of how the gameplay works.

PPS: I'm still working on finalizing costs for those stretch goals, and should have them posted up soon! To those curious, they involve additional games in the collection for those at the $40/$50 level and above!

Alright, I've fixed the NOIR Rulebook. Thanks for letting me know :)
The stretch goals will come out as soon as the logos and cover arts are ready. Just a few more days...

I can hardly wait to see the stretch goals you have up your sleeve. I hope they're as exciting and fun as your other games! :D

Looks great! Can't wait to try Noir out.

I did notice that Spy Tag was in the pdf twice. Once with the pictorial example, and once without. May want to fix that!
