Hey everyone! It's been a while, but it's time for one final update to close the door on what has been one of our most memorable Kickstarter Campaigns so far.
At this point, I trust that about 99% of you have your Minigame Libraries in hand. There may be a few straggling packages in Europe or Asia--if you don't get anything by April, please let me know so we can fix the situation for you.
We've been getting great reviews for the game, most notably our recent review on Rock, Paper, Shotgun, which basically instructs readers to go buy a copy as quickly as possible. We've gotten a bunch of other reviews as well, with Pixel Tactics proving the most popular game of the collection, and warranting a reprint and a sequel in July.
If you've had a great experience with the Minigame Library, I hope that you'll take a minute to rate us on BGG, blog about it, or even write a review of your own!
Autographed Promo cards
We got in the autographed cards from Fábio last week, and will be shipping them out this week. With this final piece, we'll be 100% finished with fulfilling all pledges for the Minigame Library Kickstarter.
Minigame Library 2014
I do plan to post one more update to this project.
This fall, we want to host another project for Minigame Library 2014. Between now and then, we'll be collecting games from independent and well known designers, and creating the perfect balance for the upcoming collection. Once that project goes live, I'll be sure to let you know. I hope that if you've been happy with this project and its outcome, that you'll support us again then :)
If you have a small card-based game that works with generic pieces, and you want to submit it for possible inclusion in the 2014 Minigame Library, please let us know! We're taking submissions from all sides. Just email email@example.com to get in touch!
I'll be out at PAX East at the Compleat Strategist Booth (near Steve Jackson Games) this weekend. If you're in the Boston area and want to get your game signed, please come by and see me! I love to meet backers face-to-face :)
Thank you all so much for the support you've given to this project--not just in terms of money, but for the moral support, excitement, and guidance that you've given me that have made the Library a reality. It's been a lot of fun, and at times a bit stressful, but we've gotten through all the hurdles and brought the project to life, thanks to you!
I hope to see you again next time! :D
