The Last Piece of the Puzzle

Final Update

Hey everyone! It's been a while, but it's time for one final update to close the door on what has been one of our most memorable Kickstarter Campaigns so far.

At this point, I trust that about 99% of you have your Minigame Libraries in hand. There may be a few straggling packages in Europe or Asia--if you don't get anything by April, please let me know so we can fix the situation for you.

We've been getting great reviews for the game, most notably our recent review on Rock, Paper, Shotgun, which basically instructs readers to go buy a copy as quickly as possible. We've gotten a bunch of other reviews as well, with Pixel Tactics proving the most popular game of the collection, and warranting a reprint and a sequel in July.

If you've had a great experience with the Minigame Library, I hope that you'll take a minute to rate us on BGG, blog about it, or even write a review of your own!

Autographed Promo cards

We got in the autographed cards from Fábio last week, and will be shipping them out this week. With this final piece, we'll be 100% finished with fulfilling all pledges for the Minigame Library Kickstarter.

Minigame Library 2014

I do plan to post one more update to this project.

This fall, we want to host another project for Minigame Library 2014. Between now and then, we'll be collecting games from independent and well known designers, and creating the perfect balance for the upcoming collection. Once that project goes live, I'll be sure to let you know. I hope that if you've been happy with this project and its outcome, that you'll support us again then :)

If you have a small card-based game that works with generic pieces, and you want to submit it for possible inclusion in the 2014 Minigame Library, please let us know! We're taking submissions from all sides. Just email to get in touch!

PAX East

I'll be out at PAX East at the Compleat Strategist Booth (near Steve Jackson Games) this weekend. If you're in the Boston area and want to get your game signed, please come by and see me! I love to meet backers face-to-face :)

Thanks Again

Thank you all so much for the support you've given to this project--not just in terms of money, but for the moral support, excitement, and guidance that you've given me that have made the Library a reality. It's been a lot of fun, and at times a bit stressful, but we've gotten through all the hurdles and brought the project to life, thanks to you!

I hope to see you again next time! :D

Games arriving this week, BattleCON: Devastation ending soon

Posted by David B. Talton Jr. (Creator)

I've received updates from the printer on the state of the games. Apparently there has been a dockworkers' strike at our port that has slowed things down for a day or two. The printer assures me that we are still looking forward to receiving the games next week and beginning shipping as soon as they arrive!

Free Print and Play (expiring soon!)

All backers can use the promo codes below to get free printable copies of the minigames from our online store: (link to the store)

We will be disabling these codes once the games arrive in the warehouse, so if you plan to use them, please use them soon!

In other news...

Our latest project, BattleCON: Devastation is drawing to a close. There are just about 6 hours left in the project. If you haven't seen it yet, BattleCON: War was the first game that Level 99 has released, and the sequel, Devastation, aims to break the limits on everything we've done before. The game is a head-to-head dueling game, much like Street Fighter, but in a standalone card game format, and with nearly 30 Fighters.

We've also added more bonus games to the campaign:

  • Disc Duelers, a character-driven Dexterity Battle Game
  • Seven Card Slugest, a realtime bar-room brawling game
  • and Pixel Tactics 2, a standalone sequel to the edition in the Minigame Library.

Thanks for taking the time to check them out!

Thanks again to everyone for their patience with all the shipping, which is ultimately out of my control. We will be doing everything we can to box and ship the games as soon as they get in stock :)

Preliminary Shipping Updates

Posted by David B. Talton Jr. (Creator)

Shipping has Begun!

Some of you have gotten shipping notices that your games are on the way! The games we shipped today were from among the extras that we had left over from the Early Shipping in December.

To make things fair, we have started at the most expensive tiers and worked our way down as best we could, using what boxes and items we had in stock.

The rest of the shipment should arrive in port on January 8th, and reach us on the 14th or 15th, by my estimate. We can pack about 200 boxes a day, so it will take around a week to get everything boxed and shipped out.

We're really looking forward to getting the games out to all of you. The new trays work great, and the card texture feels excellent. I think you'll all be really impressed with the way the final games look and feel when they reach your hands :)

In Other News, BattleCON: Devastation is coming!

If you haven't seen it yet, our new Kickstarter project, BattleCON: Devastation is fully funded, and now we're just racking up stretch goals to make the game even better. Like with the Minigame Library, we're actually creating new games at multiples of the project's base goal (200%, 300%, etc). There's a lot to like in the new BattleCON: Devastation dueling card game. I hope you'll all give it a look over!
