Dino Dude Ranch: Hatchlings is an eggs-ellent expansion to your favorite family game. Hatchlings adds more decisions, more strategy, and more cuteness. In Hatchlings, players now have the opportunity to buy eggs and hatch babies to pair with mama dinosaurs. These eggs introduce more considerations when spending resources and also introduce a little press-your-luck into our beloved game. Hatchlings also introduces the Oviraptor, a new dinosaur who can only be lured to your ranch with unhatched eggs.
*This is not a stand alone expansion and it requires the Dino Dude Ranch base game to play.
Here is what some backers from our campaign for the Dino Dude Ranch Base game had to say about their excitement for expansion!
These small additions adds A LOT to gameplay. One more thing to spend resources on that gives you a lot to think about, a new press-your-luck element, but it keeps the integrity of the base game.
We have a lot less wiggle room for stretch goals with this campaign as we need all of the components to match those of the base game. We have decided that since the game was so small and the component stock is predetermined because of the base game, we would just include everything we want, the way we want it, with the initial offer for this game.
Pledging early ensures that this game gets made and that you will receive a copy (as we typically have limited retail release post-kickstarter). It also allows you to be a part of our community and help us to achieve our goals. The better this game does, the better position we are in to continue our line and produce more amazing high quality games!

Why is this campaign live before our previous game Groves has been fulfilled?
We typically do not run campaigns while we have an outstanding campaign, but sometimes certain situations call for a change of plans. We have been out of Dino Dude Ranch stock for 10 months already and we simply do not want to wait any longer. We have had a lot of requests for the game and want to get it into more people's hands as soon as possible! We have a solid plan for completing both campaigns side-by-side and we will not let either campaign affect the proper completion (or communication during) for either campaign. We have fulfilled four previously funded games on time and plan to use the knowledge and experience gained to ensure our fifth and sixth games get fulfilled side by side without a hitch. We have developed great partnerships in the industry and already have a game plan for who we will be working with and how/when we will be moving forward each step of the way.
OUR SINCEREST APPRECIATION TO THE MANY WHO HAVE HELPED US ALONG THE WAY!
We would like to thank (in no particular order) Cassie Friedman, Dustin Schwartz, Mike Wokasch (Fairway3 Games), Andrew and Jessica Fisher (Gameosity), Ryan Sanders (Inquisitive Meeple), Tom Gurganus (Go Forth and Game), Dane Trimble (Everything Board Games), George Jaros (GJJ Games), Chris Anderson (Blue Cube Games). Lastly, we would like to give a shout out to our official playtesters: Stephanie Letzring, The Letzring Family, Lauren Carino, Matthew Carino, Cassie Friedman-Caffrey, Corey Caffrey, Becca Grek, Christopher Guild, Geoff Ming, Gabrielle Moore, Jeff Wallace, Simon Reid
