LeSo Gallery is striving to promote the arts in the Toledo community while providing a safe, creative environment for local children and artists. With this Kickstarter campaign we hope to accomplish 3 major things to help our gallery, classroom, and community grow:

1) A Visually Stunning Mural by Mr. Taylor

The artist of the famous "Toledo Loves Love" wall, Matt Taylor, has agreed to design and paint a fantastic mural on the east wall of the LeSo Gallery building. He has an undeniable dedication to the arts and a proven track record of producing bold and intricate work. Learn more about the artist here. The money raised will provide Mr. Taylor all of the necessary supplies to make this dream a reality and make a genuine impact on the community.

2) Classroom/Workshop Supplies

LeSo would also love the opportunity to provide classes and workshops to local children and artists. Owner, Amber Lefever, and partner, Bradley Scherzer, are both experienced and passionate art teachers in the community. This is the chance we have to purchase basic supplies and materials to make this happen.

3) Digital Projector

To support our artists, engage the community with artist talks, and for use in our classroom, we wish to purchase a digital projector. We have a screen and in the past were able to borrow a projector, however that is no longer possible. So we need your help to continue to provide these quality artist/community interactions. The owners of LeSo spent a year and a half renovating the 1903 East Toledo building and, since its opening in September 2012, have committed 100% to the gallery's success.  They now need the help of their beloved community to take the next steps!

Risks and challenges

LeSo Gallery and its team has committed 100% to the gallery's success in all of its endeavors. We have considered and planned for the risks involved in the mural completion. We have been working with artist Matt Taylor for the past couple of months and maintain a strong personal and business relationship with him. We are confident in our flexible schedules and mutual dedication to the project to ensure its success.
