VandalEyes Your Deck As An Add-On + 3 New Geeks!
This was me over the weekend.
In case you missed it, my Kickstarter was #Vandaleyes-d late Saturday night. I am putting the blame squarely on former Geek A Weeker Bonnie Burton and her partner in crime, new Geek A Weeker, Anne Wheaton. They will never cotton to it, but I can be pretty sure they were responsible.
What does this all mean? Well, for one, it means you can choose a limited #Vandaleyes reward that adds a pair of goggly eyes to the deck front.
If you have already backed at a certain reward level and you want to #Vandaleyes your deck, you can do as an add-on for $10 and not lose your reward!
Be sure to frequently check out the Add-Ons (on the main page of the Kickstarter) as I will be adding more as the campaign continues. I am currently working on some pretty neat ones right now, but I can't say anything about them right now. Confirmation and things.
More good news:
NEW GEEKS ADDED!
I continue on my search for geeks to add to the deck. Over the weekend, I was able to collect three more!
Hal is one of the core members of the hilarious comedy show Thrilling Adventure Hour, and apparently he is also a huge fan of my work and the project. Of course that isn't a prerequisite for becoming a Geek A Week, but it certainly doesn't hurt.
Adam Koford (AKA ApeLad)
Adam is both an incredible artist and also a very good friend. Adam is one of the most prolific and consistently funny cartoonists that I know. He is best known as his moniker ApeLad and has created an wonderfully meta/retro webcomic called The Laugh Out Loud Cats. I am so excited to (finally) add Adam as a Geek A Week. And I'm even more excited to draw him!
Patrick Scott Patterson
Patrick Scott Patterson (aka Original PSP) is a media and video game personality who was not only a former competitive gamer but also a Pro Wrestler who wrestled under the name "Hardcore Kingpin" Scott Phoenix. In my estimation, that makes him at least a Triple Threat in Geekdom and of course, I had to have him as part of the new Year Two Five set.
Remember, I won't be able to interview and create trading cards of these folks if the Kickstarter does not succeed. So please spread the word and let people know about the project. My personal goal for the week is to hit $10K by Wednesday. If I do that, I should be on pace to fund by the end of the campaign.
That's it! More coming soon! Enjoy your Monday!
