How Fix Hot Sauce Started
Our Fix journey started with a life changing trip to Vietnam. First hand, we tasted the difference that authentic, farm-fresh, and non processed goodness made. Our minds were blown. From here, we made it our mission to bottle the premium bold flavors of South Asia and share it with everyone back home.
We used to be interested in average bowls of pho served with your average hot sauce. We want more. And you deserve more. Fix was born to bring the best damn hot sauce to America.
About Us
We are Johnny, Jennifer, Alex and David, the Co-founders of Fix Hot Sauce. Fix is a small company based out of Seattle consisting of family and high school friends. We launched a year ago with our first product, the original Fix Sriracha Hot Sauce. Using only the five purest ingredients we were able to set a new standard for sriracha. Our original sauce is composed of bold flavors, balanced heat and contains no preservatives, nitrates or fillers. We pride ourselves in making clean all natural products to fit our healthy lifestyles while satisfying our passion for spice.
Fix Lemongrass Sriracha
Fix Hot Sauce's newest endeavor is to marry the bold ethos of our original sauce, married with the brightness of citrus and lemongrass. In our mad scientist experimentations, we've found the right blend of flavors that we think hot sauce aficionados will love!
First, we want to say that creating a small batch sauce wasn't our intention. As we experimented with our organic green chili peppers through our fermentation and blending process, we found we needed the greater control exercised when hand mixing the ingredients. Our smaller batches yielded a nuanced flavor profile that brought a gigantic smile to our faces. We refuse to make compromises on taste -- We owe it to our fans, and hot sauce lovers all over, to serve this sauce in the purest and tastiest form - and our Small Batch Lemongrass Sriracha was born!
Our original sauce is continuing to win fans all across the country, including some of the most prominent and competitive markets. We created our Lemongrass Sriracha to share another bold sauce they're sure to love, and to show our fans our Fix's hot sauce obsession is just getting started!
We want to bring our newest creation to market, and we need your help. We've found our special organic green chili pepper in Vietnam, and are in the process of securing a batch of this limited harvest for these one-of-a-kind peppers. Our plan is to ferment and blend our sauce, bottle it in our proprietary Fix bottles, and bring it on home for everyone!
What funds will be used for
The main purpose for raising these funds is to bring our small batch of Fix Lemongrass Sriracha to market, and to the homes of hot sauce lovers everywhere.
1. Deliver to our Kickstarter backers our sauce and swag!
2. Target the online market. We refuse to compromise on taste - As our supply isn't large enough to fulfill retailers, our plan is to target online sales through a revamped website, digital outreach, and online advertisement.
3. Breakdown on how funds will be used:
- Pay farmers for peppers.
- Secure factory capacity and manpower necessary to produce the sauce.
- Create a new bottle mold for our smaller version of our original bottle
- Packaging
- Labels and Nutrition facts
- Shipping
- Order more bottles at a time to drive costs down.
- Target online market - Website updates to show new product.
- Marketing - Trade shows, distributors, restaurants, and groceries. We want to convert more hot sauce lovers to Fix!

Risks and challenges
We manufacture our product in Vietnam so our biggest challenges will be lead time and importing. Typically it takes 3-6 weeks to receive a shipment. We are qualified to tackle this issue if it arises as we deal with it regularly with our original product.
