The Canadian Project - A Scarf and Hijab (Canceled)
In a world ravaged by war, hatred, and intolerance, Canada stands tall as a leader of love and equality. Each scarf supports this ideal
A Scarf For All Canadians
This is a scarf for every Canadian. No matter what gender. No matter what colour. No matter what religion. No matter where you came from or where you want to go, this scarf is for you. It is a symbol of peace, patriotism and tolerance. It does not discriminate. It is pure, unadulterated, Canadian.
About Your Scarf
All of our scarves are cut from the same 100% cotton cloths. They are made in Canada, by Canadians, for Canadians, and each one is carefully sewn to give you the best quality.
1-For-1 means that each time you buy a scarf through the Canadian Project, we donate a scarf to a Syrian Refugee as part of our mission to welcome new refugees to Canada. You'll get the chance to include custom greeting for each scarf that is donated.
You can get your scarf in ANY of our designs and cut to one of three our styles:
Step 1: Choose Your Cut
- The Classic - A straight cut scarf with a fringe on each end.
- The Infinity - A simple endless loop of Canadian scarf.
- The Canadian Hijab - A straight cut scarf with a wide base.
Step 2: Choose your design
The final retail price of each scarf is $30 CAD, but we're giving our Kickstarters a special deal at only $25 CAD (plus S&H).
1 Scarf: $20
3 Scarves: $50
5 Scarves & Spray: $100

We're working on a great hydrophobic solution that will keep your scarf clean and dry all the time using the latest Nano-Technology embedded deep into the cotton fabric. You can also purchase a bottle of our Beaver Pelt Hydrophobic Spray to keep your gear treated all year.
About Our Mission
Business and entrepreneurship in Canada is no longer just about how much money you can make, it's about how beautiful an impact you can create. We are an organization with a moral obligation to Canadian citizens. We're not just creating a scarf as a symbol of peace and tolerance, were using the profits to:
- Create programs and workshops that will help Syrian refugees do more than just "settle" into Canada.
- Combat the ignorance and intolerance created by misinformation with a comedic ad campaign.
- Support families of the Canadian Armed Forces through Quilts of Valour.
About The Creator
Born on a farm outside a tiny rural village in Canada, Rich experienced the life as a typical Canadian farmer. Attending a public school of only 400 people, his cultural upbringing was anything but diverse.
Rich left home at the age of 17 to join the trades in the Toronto & Durham region. Having learned little of other cultures during his childhood, he was in for the culture shock of his life. He became fascinated with the diversity of Canada and of the stories of those who've made this beautiful country their home, and within a few years had built up a network of friends that rivals the diversity of the UN.
Now, an author, entrepreneur, and social activist, Rich has made it his mission to turn the ignorance and intolerance of few into the love and kindness of many through the Canadian Project.
Risks and challenges
We know how much difficulty refugees around the world have undergone. The Canadian Project sets out to be a light of hope for those in need.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
