Pirate Compendium 5E update! And last day for Fates of Madness!
The Sea Monsters are in and the Spells, Character Options, and Cutthroats and Crew chapters are all in their last looks from the team and will be in this week. That leaves only the Pirates and Plunder and Distant Shores chapters in progress with the expanded team members as we brought some new folks on board to help get things up and out the door.
HOWEVER, Real Life does intrude from time to time in small companies like LG, and our magnificent mistress of maritime manuscripts and layout on this project, Liz Courts, is moving cross-country and will be off-line for a few weeks en route to her new home in the Southwest. She'll do what she can before hitting the road, but she will have to finish the project after she arrives. We had a good conversation yesterday and everything should be on track to have the PDF ready for you before GenCon. Our apologies for the delay, but thankfully it'll only be a brief one. Once the PDFs are out to you, we'll prep the print version with our printer and get things rolling!
In other news, I've sent the sea shanty sheets over to my operatic friend, and once he's done his recordings I'll post those up for everyone to enjoy!
As a final note, today is the LAST DAY of our Fates of Madness cooperative RPG card game Kickstarter, which has successfully funded! We appreciate the support of any of you who have been able to jump aboard, and if you haven't already we definitely encourage you to give it a look! Rachel Ventura has taken the lead on this project along with the Mythica design team of Jimmy Sanders and Theresa Weibler, and they've made a game that's a lot of fun packed into 30-60 minutes. We're excited to explore a new area as a game company and we hope you'll come along and help share the love! Hey, who knows if the response to this horror-themed game is strong, we may revisit the idea for PIRATES! Share the link and share the love!
