Yeah! Thanks for the new update. :)

    2. James Guy Creator on

I hear you guys... you are right. Damage control backer update coming this week/end.

    3. G on

Did you buy hookers and coke with $43,000? It's been a year and a half since we've got an update. I accept my position as a sucker for giving you cons $100 but imagine the poor saps who gave you $1000's for nothing. Obviously this game is never coming out. Lesson learned but I don't regret backing Yookah-Laylee.

This "project" killed the Kickstarter site for me. It's over 4 years since we backed it, and not even a playable demo has been released for it. We paid $43,000 for some art work. Thanks for ruining crowdsourcing for me.

    5. Zach Kaplan on

Echoing what others are saying here... would love an update...

2 YEARS WITHOUT UPDATES! I think this project is dead.

      Nope it isn’t dead

Just wanted to give you guys a positive message and let ya know that despite it being about 4 years since backing, despite all the pitfalls and issues there’s been, I’m still excited to hopefully see this game some day.

I know the FB page has been inactive for a year now, so I’m just wondering if anyone has a different page that I can follow just to see any small updates? Even if it’s just minor stuff like a minuscule bug you guys have had to deal with squashing this month, I’d love to keep in the loop.

Hope you guys don’t get too burnt out on any negativity. Excited to eventually see a final product and hope you’re all well. 😊

    10. Justin Holmes on

I'm sympathetic to your situation and I think you guys really got jerked around with the Ouya thing but I do think updates every four or six months would be the very least we could do, if only to say hello.

    11. Leon Fletcher on

Guys, just try to remember they are a small group of independent developers where this is their first game and they have other day jobs. Not to mention they lost half the funding due to the Ouya diabolical

    12. rollntider on

I guess no updates since june?

    13. Nick Evans on

$50 that could have been used elsewhere. I wish you guys all the best, but at this point I am not really hopeful of ever getting what I paid for.

    14. RiftwingDesigns on

I agree, I almost forgot that this game isn't out yet. I was sure it had been released. Please continue to make posts - monthly wouldn't be too much to ask. We would love to see the game progressing, instead of there being just a void.

    15. James Guy Creator on

@Jeffery Scalzo- I'm sorry that there hasn't been much here on the Kickstarter board. We have trickled out bits here and there via other social media means as mentioned below, but no, we haven't had any big updates since hitting some major lulls and difficulties. The state of progress is the same as it has been; extremely slow and with little in the way of shareable content. I am sorry the progress isn't at the pace we had all anticipated, and trust me that I would love nothing more than to be able to show big leaps and showcase progress. The simple truth is we don't have that to push right now outside of what we have already shown off. We've made some steps forward this past month and a half that are almost at another screenshot showcase stage, but we need to make sure things are right before we start posting images/statements that are inaccurate, incomplete or misleading.

There is nobody more disappointed with this truth than us. We are not giving up, but we are not delivering at the base we (or you) want us to. There is no hiding from that. When we can boast, you can bet we most certainly will. When we are quiet, it's not by choice.

When we do have content lefthandedgames.com will be the place to find rather than on the funding campaign page. You can always reach out to me via Twitter, as many backers have been doing. I apologize, I wish it were going better.

    16. Jeffrey Scalzo on

Hi. Are there any updates? Its incredibly hard to find anything new and we're going on nearly 3 years after making a donation. I don't mean to sound harsh but the least we could expect is a statement of progress on this site.

      Kaleb Wrenchey on

So glad to see some updates! Was hoping to get the game sooner but as long as I know you're still working on it, I'm excited!

    18. James Guy Creator on

Sorry you equate our struggling project to a robbery @David...

Hey guys, we have a few new screenshots for you to check out if you are keen on seeing what we have been working on. It's slow going, I realize that, but we really are trying our best and doing what we can to keep making progress. Much of that isn't outwardly facing and that has been killing me for a long time. Missing deadlines and not having much to show for our work in recent months is as frustrating for us as it is for those of you wanting to hear more on our little gamble that is Lobodestroyo.

Hopefully, these screens help alleviate any concerns that we are nefariously misleading you. Please check it out and let me know what you think of what we are able to share!

      A thousand times Cheers!
      -Jamie

Resuming regular updates last month? I want to hear how things have been going!

    21. Kickstarter Account on

      New update coming soon?

    22. Kevin A. Morris on

So is this still going to be coming to the Wii U or will it have to be moved to the Switch?

    23. James Guy Creator on

Hey guys, thanks for checking in. We will resume regular updates in January. We have shuffled team members (again) and made some strides I am keen to showcase and share with you all. We have opted to keep news closer to the chest and then have more to show for it, rather than being overly vocal about minimal movement. As @Justin Holmes has pointed out the twitter feed is the best way to get bitesized nuggets and will be more active come Jan.

Speaking of which I hope everyone has a very happy new year. Please be safe and we'll chat in 2017!

I'm not a Twitter guy but I found the Mutt Twitter takeover really cute. Everyone should give it a look if they miss that ol' fuzzball.

It still is Justice, be sure to check out this interview Jamie did not to long ago to give an idea of where they are at at the moment ;) http://cliqist.com/2016/05/25/interview-lobodestroyos-james-guy/

    35. JusticeBolt on

I hope to see an update soon. The last update was in November lol. I hope the game is still happening... :(

    36. James Guy Creator on

Yes! There will be an update soon. Times have be tough, motivation struggling, and as a result there have been big, boring shuffles and back-of-house restructuring on our part that has prevented us from blabbing about updates while we finalize ourselves.

    37. James Guy Creator on

Hey guys, sorry for the bit of radio silence. We will have an update later this month. I'll be jumping back on twitter (@lobodestroyo) later this week too if you had any direct questions for me. Cheers! -Jamie

    38. Robert Smith on
