I am recording an album of original bittersweet songs about dreams and life with a gentle touch of enchantment for flavor.
Currently the project is partly done, I need to finish recording with the musicians I asked to be a part of the album (Alexander James Adams and Betsy Tinney of Tricky Pixie fame, Sunnie on violin and viola, Glenno on harp, and a talented flute player. Recording dates are scheduled for January leaving February to finish up anything we didn't have time for, or to redo anything that might need to be re-recorded. By the beginning of March I want to be ready to send the album in to be mastered, and I want it to be done being replicated/duplicated by mid-April so that I have them ready to sell for my live concert at Norwescon on Easter Weekend.
I need the money to pay for replication/duplication, mastering the project, and to finish paying my musicians as well as covering travel expenses as my engineer and one of my musicians live several hours drive away. Everything I've gotten done so far has already been paid for, thanks to generous donations from before I discovered kickstarter. I have a little set aside to cover the next recording session or two, but I'd really love to be able to afford to pay to have the music I want to have, rather then be forced to pare it down. Trust me, you'll appreciate the difference, especially those of who who are fans of Tricky Pixie and Alexander James Adams.
I'm asking for enough to cover all of these, plus a little more so that when kickstarter and amazon take their percentages, I'll be able to cover everything. Anything I get over what I need will be set aside towards my next album (I have two more in mind that I'd like to make...)
As soon as I get my website up (found someone to help me with it, or rather they found me!) I'll post the link for that, and once I have the right song finished, you can expect to see a link to my bandcamp page where it will be available to purchase in advance of the album.
Have a question? If the info above doesn't help, you can ask the project creator directly.
