First Seed Money Coins Minted

Hello Seed Money Backers...

The first Seed Money coins - pennies with wildflowers - are now rolling off the press and they look fabulous! We've spent the last six weeks completing the original artwork and resolving various issues regarding seed availability and paper production, but we're very pleased with how the first ever batch of Seed Money has turned out. Take a look (images below).

If you pledged at the $15 level (one roll of 50 Pennies), then we expect to ship your reward before the end of October. A survey asking for your current mailing address will be sent out later today. If you pledged at a reward level that includes nickels, dimes, or quarters, we expect to ship the first week of November when the remaining denominations are wrapped and ready. If you're in this group, your mailing address survey will arrive in your inbox towards the end of October.

Thank you for your support, patience, and enthusiasm for Seed Money. Devin and I are still in awe at how well this idea was received by the Kickstarter community and we're looking forward to getting these coins into circulation very soon.

- Lea

Hand-made paper stock?? Very exciting pictures. You add the seeds to the money 'blanks' after the punch pressing right? To keep them from germinating until planted. Congrats on seeing the result of your labor of love.
