news! (the short version)
after months of working away in a basement studio, the last few weeks have been a flurry of framing, conferencing, and getting the first prints out the door to the gallery. a more detailed update will follow soon. for now, i am excited to announce that THIS WEEK i will have two shows opening! details below:
THURSDAY, APRIL 4, 7-11 pm: earlier this winter, i was part of a community book-making project in collaboration with artshare northeast and the northeast library. the finished book and some of my brand new work will be up at the chowgirls parlor, 1222 second street ne (if you are in minneapolis, this is a chance to see what i've been making with your generous kickstarter dollars!)
FRIDAY, APRIL 5, 4-8 pm: FLYOVER opens! at the macrostie art center in grand rapids, minnesota
also, i have a couple of pieces in the show DIY PRINTING: PRESSES NOT REQUIRED, which is up until april 28 at the minnesota museum of american art project space in downtown st. paul. the show is full of great local printmakers as well as artists from the museum's collection.
i hope this note finds you well and warm after a long winter.
