We are almost there but need your help! Our film, LAST LOOK, will be produced this July - but only with your help! We have been saving for sometime. Hernando, the writer/director, even donated his body to science to help fund this project! We are now just $4,000 short of our production goal and we would love for you to be a part of getting this film off the ground! Per Kickstarter's rules, we need to raise all $4,000 by our June 15th deadline or we receive nothing. Please consider helping us reach our goal!!
LAST LOOK is definitely a passion project - our very first feature film after making numerous shorts. It is original, daring, thrilling, mysterious and fun!

Here is a statement from writer/director Hernando Bansuelo:
I am interested in exploring a family that lives outside society’s rules, the jail of family life and the nature of violence. My interest is to explore shattered characters, with pasts blasted by the sort of loss that makes even the pretense of normal life impossible. The narrative structure of the film mirror the characters own shattering and require audience members to reassemble the full story for themselves. The film coalesces around artifacts of the past. In the case of LAST LOOK, it is a play. And the film designates storytelling as singularly significant. Writing – at least when it is great – is a kind of consecration, placing its practitioners in the way of assaults from large truths and perils. This last theme runs the risk of morbid solemnity; everything rests on the execution. Inspiration arrived from and was supported by Psycho, Sunset Blvd, Spider, Peeping Tom, Blue Velvet, Mommie Dearest, L.I.E., Man Bites Dog, Knife in the Water, La Ceremonie, The Seventh Continent, Oedipus, Medea, and Sex, Lies and Videotape. I connect deeply to my material and have seen where “traditional” lines have been blurred and reconfigured and the scars are real. In fact, the characters are inspired by real people. I am fascinated by the possibilities of radical experiments in behavior. In the film, I want to create a study in the human hunger for experience and dissect a freakish homemade microculture.
LAST LOOK is about theatricality, duality, emotional patterns, love, challenging expected familial roles, and the camera. I am making a film that is devastating, sad, true, funny and moving. It is a Greek tragedy in which assumed social standards are the Olympian forces. In the end, I may lose friends but I am playing with fear. I am playing with the past. I am playing with social norms and it has been a thrilling and complicated journey for me.
On the film’s opening – It has to be a camera lens because it’s an opening. A camera is wide, you can go down into it. And it goes somewhere vast…
