Bullets and Teeth is a casual zombie card game for 3-5 players where you don't have to outrun the dead if you can outrun the living.
Fight the Horde
The Horde grows from the very first draw! There's no setup. Bullets and Teeth will have you fighting for survival from the desperate beginning to the gruesome end.
Each game lasts about 20 minutes. You'll be ready to jump in again as soon as you're done laughing at the horrible demise of your friends.
Betray Your Friends
The bear has three heads. You have one bullet. Your buddy needs two knees to run.
You know what to do.
Only one of you is getting out alive. If you want to be the lucky survivor, someone else is going to have to be The Bait!
Laugh and Cringe
In Bullets and Teeth, a real parasite found in litter boxes has mutated. The dreaded Toxoplasm now infects cats, humans, and other animals.
To escape the claws of the brutal Scabby Tabby or the ferocious Moldylocks you'll need to use every tool at your disposal. Fling uninfected animals for a quick Snack-rifice. Give 'em both barrels with Ol' Faithful. Or Duct Tape tools together for a killer combo. Blast and backstab your way through the Horde or die laughing.
To start, just shuffle the decks and deal 5 Bullets cards to each player. Then place the decks on the table next to each other. Your hand may have Traps (purple), Weapons (orange), Supplies (green) and Duct Tape (rainbow). We'll explain these later.
Give the Bait card to the player who last touched a cat. They'll have to fight the Horde first!
The player with the Bait card starts by drawing a Bullets card to their hand and adding a Teeth card to the Horde by flipping over the top Teeth card and placing it below the decks face up.
Some Teeth have special abilities. The Teeth deck also has Locations that change the rules. Only one Location can be in play at a time, so when a new one is added to the Horde, discard the old one.
Now it's time to Fight the Horde. When you're the Bait, you'll have to stop every Zombie or you're dead. You can play as many cards from your hand as you want so long as they're in the same suit. Bullets are discarded as they are played.
You can also use Duct Tape as a wild card to switch suits mid-turn.
Turn order passes to the left, but the Bait card passes to the right at the end of the Bait's turn.
The next survivor starts their turn the same way, by drawing a Bullet and adding a Teeth card to the Horde. However, if you're not the Bait, you don't have to fight the Horde.
When you're not the Bait you can only play one card from your hand and the Bait card doesn't move at the end of your turn. This is a good time to make life harder for your friends.
The Horde will grow quickly, so be ready when it's your turn as the Bait. Play continues until only one survivor is left standing.

How it Works
Just back the game at any tier, then take a picture of yourself doing your best zombie impression and post it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #bulletsandteeth. At the end of the campaign, YOU BECOME THE HORDE. We’ll draw as many of your selfies as we can as zombies and put them on our Shamblers card. You, the backers, will be immortalized as the zombies of Bullets and Teeth.
What's more, if enough backers become zombies, we'll unlock stretch goals early.
Current Horde Count: 30 Zombies
We want our Kickstarter Exclusive backers to rest assured that these items will never be available through traditional retail means. We will need to print a small amount of extra stock for each item to assure that if anything arrives damaged we can replace items for those backers. Once we are certain all backers have received their items we will make the extra stock available only at conventions or through special promotions.
Bullets and Teeth will be printed on high quality playing card stock. Every 2 piece box will come with a plastic divider tray.
We've sourced fulfillment in the US, Canada, EU and Australia to ensure your rewards ship from inside your country wherever possible. We advise all international backers to look into local taxes and duties beyond our control that may apply.
To ensure the fastest delivery possible with the least chance of error, we cannot split orders. We allow one delivery location per backer at any reward level or number of copies.
In addition to free US shipping, shipping rates are subsidized across the board. We know shipping charges can be a pain so we've done our best to offer you the cheapest possible rates in all locations with no surprise fees.
Remember that your pledge is in United States Dollars. Currency exchange rates are subject to change between when you pledge and the end of the campaign. Please check your currency exchange rate before the campaign's end to verify the current price.
If you're a retailer interested in stocking Bullets and Teeth, please message us directly for pricing of bulk orders. Some stretch goals may be limited to our first print run, so don't hesitate to contact us.

Risks and challenges
Although this is our first project on Kickstarter, we're prepared for the apocalypse and we take preparations of your rewards just as seriously.
After testing samples and getting quotes from some of the top manufacturers in the card gaming industry, we've sourced only the highest quality assets from a company with one of the best reputations in the business.
We recognize that shipping can lead to some of the biggest headaches in reward fulfillment. We've done everything we can to account for all factors by working with shippers in major markets to deliver your rewards as soon as possible.
Unfortunately due to the size of the package, we were unable to get tracking information for our EU backers. We hope to fulfill our commitment to our backers by Halloween of 2017!
While we ourselves have a zombie plan, none of the shippers we spoke to presented a comprehensive contingency process for the inevitable undead apocalypse. As such, in the event that our shipping partners or manufacturers are killed and eaten, Last Ditch Games is unable to guarantee delivery of your rewards in a timely fashion.
However, should the apocalypse occur post production, Last Ditch Games will make every effort to collate rewards at the yet undisclosed location designated Survival Site Alpha. The location of SSA will be sent to all backers prior to the fall of the internet and we will do our best to arrange for pickup by non-infected backers.
