New Songs From LA by Emily Nance (Canceled)
Working with LA based Grammy nominated, award winning Producer Brandon Friesen to bring you all some sweet new tunes for 2019.
Hey you! Thank you so much for checking out this page. I'm an indie pop singer, songwriter, and dancer from NW Arkansas. I'm most known for my music video for my original song "Stay / Go." It has been in several film festivals across the US and won "Best Music Video" in the Atlanta Film Festival in 2018. (Link to video: https://youtu.be/-lsqR0KTn14). Also this past year, I was signed to my first record label and was apart of a collaborative album released by Bike Rack Records (link to album: https://open.spotify.com/album/3EHNeXN8BGYy3m7MryoHiV).
For the past few months I've been collaborating with other artists, writing, and preparing for another music video/short film I'll be doing this summer for my original song "Slow Motion." But I'm very excited to announce I've been given an incredible opportunity to record new songs this year with a top notch music producer from Los Angeles. I connected with Brandon Friesen, who is a huge producer in the LA scene, and he was very interested in working with me. He's worked with artists and bands all across the board such as Billy Ray Cyrus, Sum 41, The Kooks, Victoria Zaro, and so many more. He owns the TV production company Arbor Television as well as the record labels Blue Cadillac Music and C12 Records. He's a Grammy nominated, multi-award winning music producer, songwriter, mixer, and audio engineer. I feel so honored to have this opportunity given to me and I can't wait to get started on these new songs with him! (Link to more on Brandon: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandon_Friesen).
I will be traveling to LA to record with Brandon in mid February. Along with working with him and his amazing team, I will have the opportunity to work with famous songwriters as well as meeting and connecting with publishers and labels that are in my genre of music. Creating top notch songs and pitching them to these publishers and labels could lead to my music getting on TV shows and movies allowing my career to really take off. This is the biggest thing that's happened for me thus far in my music journey and I really believe this trip could change my life.
The total cost for this opportunity is $10,000. This includes song production, mixing, mastering, session musicians, travel to LA, food and lodging for 9 days, song distribution, and merch costs.
The best part about these kickstarters is that if you feel led to give, you get something in return!! Can't beat that. If you look at the rewards section on this page you'll see all the cool stuff you can get from your contribution. I hope you consider giving. I will be forever grateful for you.
Look forward to these songs and other cool things I'll be releasing later this year! Thanks again for checking out this page!
All my love,
