End of Week 1: Moon Madness!

Hi, everyone!  We did it!  After exactly 1 week we are at 28% of our goal and still climbing.  I'm pretty much shocked at the response we're getting over Moon Intern.  It's all thanks to your amazing generosity.  We're not there yet though and it is going to take a whole lot more work to hit 100%.  We've been twittering non-stop about the project.  A few blogs even decided to pick us up!

You people, yes you, can help too!  Spread the good word across all your social circles!  Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, etc etc etc.  We reeeaaaalllllllly want to make Moon Intern.  So any help you give us goes directly toward our dreams.  We've also got some surprises for you too!  

This week we spent a lot of time in development, trying to get our bare-bones playable up and running.  We're planning to release this to the public before this campaign is over.  We're excited to show you what we're cooking.

Shortly after the end of the campaign our official builds will become something only our "testers" have access to.  These "testers" I guess in a way have alpha or beta access. Whatever you want to call it, it's essentially getting to play the game as we make it.  You won't be under any obligation to log bugs or anything like that (but you'll be welcome to), but we hope you'll have fun experiencing the game-design process with us.  Testing begins in August.  We'll have a fancy website for it and everything.

I'm sure you'll also be interested in this; we're going to do a LIVE game jam on Friday July 20th and Saturday July 21st.  You'll be able to watch us in real time over the internet for about 48 hours -- we'll come up with and create a small game.  All of us on the team have taken part in game jams before, but this is the first time we're ever going to be doing it live online.

We're going to be sharing this experience with another group of devs, Electrophage.  We'll be announcing the details about where you can watch it and exactly what time, within the week.  So yeah, that should be a lot of fun!

      May I suggest sharing two titles or parts from a couple of tracks of the soundtracks so we can listen to it and decide if it's worth getting extra with the $28 pledge? :)
