Melanie Griffith joins cast of DTLA
Stage, film, television, Oscar nominated and Golden Globe winning actress Melanie Griffith joins the cast of DTLA in the role Kimberley, the mother of character Bryan, played by newcomer Matthew Stephen Herrick; and ex-lover of the character Carla, played by Sandra Bernhard.
"When we told Sandra about the role of Kimberley, she immediately suggested Melanie, and after a brief conversation with her at Sandra's one-woman show, she agreed to join the DTLA family in this fabulous role." Said Executive Producer and Creator Larry Kennar.
Griffith, who most recently starred in the play No Way But Through, was also lauded by the Munich Film Festival with a Lifetime Achievement Award this month.
