Halfway Through & A Note About Additional Funding
We're just past the halfway point in our Kickstarter campaign, so we thought we'd take a minute to address questions we've received about surpassing our goal.
Every dollar pledged above our initial goal is going toward the cookbook. It will allow us to enrich the content (that razor clamming video we were hoping to include? Definitely happening!) and increase the quantity of print versions we're able to produce. In addition, we've started exploring additional platforms for the ebook and app versions. Stay tuned for more info on that!
But most importantly, additional funding means additional participation. Every pledge of $10 and above means another person who can join us in the process, test drive recipes, and share their feedback. And as we've said before, that's at the heart of what this project is all about: applying the community feel of our restaurant to the making of the cookbook.
Speaking of participation, we just wrapped up our first two days of shooting photos and videos for Roughcuts to send to supporters. Much garlic was chopped!
Our team is now hard at work on editing footage. Be sure to follow us on Twitter at @LarkCookbook for behind-the-scenes peeks at these shoots, and sign up for the Lark Cookbook newsletter here for updates after the campaign ends.
Coming up next: we'll be reaching out to supporters at the $50 and above levels with dates for our first Kickstarter party. This event will be a great opportunity to meet John, learn more about the cookbook, and meet other Kickstarters. Look for that soon.
