Where is the survey?

Posted by Lance Glasses (Creator)

Dear Backers,

Some of you have been worrying about the survey and also making confusions with the pre-survey that has been sent a while ago.

You will receive the survey in a few days as we are still waiting for the funds to be transferred to our account from Kickstarter (US to France)

No worries!!

As soon as the survey is on its way, we will publish another update with a tutorial to help you fill in your information and parameters of prescription, if you have one.

We are receiving a great amount of messages with questions that have already been answered in our updates and/or in the FAQs section so please have a look at them before sending us a message!

Important Reminder :

In order to make your prescription lenses we need the following:

- Diopters for both Sphere & Cylinder

- Axis (in case there are some diopters on the cylinder)

- Pupillary distance ( distance between your eyes)

Thanks again for your trust and support,

Lance Team

Its been more than few days mates. What's the status of transfer from the US to your account?

I just had an exam to get my prescription updated before I get the new survey. I simply asked to have the PD put on the printout. They never questioned it.
Looking forward to the new survey so I can get my second, different pair of awesome glasses.

      Fellow Lance Backers,

For those of you like myself who will need to use their eye prescription, you might have an issue noticing that your pupillary distance or PD is nowhere listed on your physical prescription that your eye doctor/office/store provided to you and that’s on purpose because most eyeglasses retailers want you to purchase in house and if they provide you with your pupillary distance measurement they know that you can go purchase cheaper online and not from them. In the US it is required by law to provide you with your eye prescription but only three states in the US require PD to be included... so if you have difficulties getting your pupillary distance, there are hacks online where you can measure them yourself (but obviously there’s room for lots of measurement error) or you might just have to find a way to have your eye doctor give that information to you. If anyone has had any luck could you please let me/us know?
