The RecordingOur CD has original tracks written by vocalist Paula Gallo and keyboard player John Lamb. Other band members are Scott Williams on guitar and Jim Syarto on drums. Emmy award winner Charlie Karp also appears as a special guest on two tracks - performing on guitar and backing vocals.
The RootsPaula Gallo got her start singing karaoke at local Connecticut clubs. Her powerful singing voice soon earned her a spot as a sideman for groups including Band Together, who she performed with at the annual Bridgeport music festival The Gathering of the Vibes.
Keyboard player John Lamb aka LambBone has four solo CDs. His music has been heard on more than 300 radio station across the US and Canada. He teamed up with Gallo in 2010 to write songs and perform with the band. His thumping Moog bass is one of the group's signature sounds.
Lamb had previously played with drummer Jim Syarto of Milford, CT in another band. The two developed a chemistry between them so Lamb contacted Syarto when he was looking for a drummer. He starting playing with Lamb and Gallo in 2010. Guitar player Scott Williams joined the band in 2011. Williams and Lamb knew each other from playing in a band together in high school.
Charlie Karp performs on two tracks on the band's CD. He has been performing live with the band from time to time since making the recordings. Karp dropped out of high school when he was 16 to take the lead guitar gig with the Buddy Miles Express - which was touring the world with Jimi Hendrix at the time. Karp played on Miles' hits Down by the River and Them Changes. The CD was produced by Mark Hermann who also produced bands including Five for Fighting.
Thanks for supporting the arts.
