(French version below // Version française plus bas)

Every clan looks resplendent in its new clothes, the village now displays an amazing mosaic of colors. Everything seems ready for the final trial!

The 20 Nomad meeples will be illustrated with a transfer print on both sides. Each side will be different (front design, and back design of the Nomad).

The D-day has come, this is the last trial, the most glorious for our tribe: the great canoë race on the “Bank of the Widows”. This side of the river has the strongest currents and many waterholes. We always avoid this part of the river but that’s where the next Neta-Tanka will claim his title. During this race there will be many checkpoints that we’ll count down from the riverbank, until the finish line at the edge of the village.

A turn counter will be designed on the main board and will receive a turn token in the normal version of the game, and a canoë wooden token in the Deluxe one.

-----

The physical wooden canoe will be an excellent addition. And I agree that it will be a great visual reminder to all such that they can't be confused where we are in the game.

      I like this, pretty cool.

you're right, but having a physical canoe moving on the river spots is more visual to see how many turns are left, it also prevents some players to forget discarding canoe cards.

I'm a little confused, I thought the Canoe boards served as round counters - or did I get this wrong?
