Frequently Asked Questions
The delivery will be in around a year, so it is difficult to get precise shipping fees. Also, we are still waiting for quotations to see if it is possible to include more countries and have better deals. We will update the Shipping section of the page as soon as we have new info.Last updated:
The game will be fully translated in English and French. Depending on our future partnerships, the game may be available in other languages later on. You will be able to choose your version at the end of the campaign, during the Pledge Manager.Last updated:
I'm willing to translate the game in my native language, is it possible? Will I get something in exchange?
Thank you for your support! It is hard for us to handle case to case situations, so we try to avoid promising free stuff and then forget to send it :/ It looks easy from the outside to trade a translation for a free copy, but as we experienced with our previous projects, it is not that simple. Our database is modified multiple times at each step of a long process (KS campaign, Pledge Manager, Production, Dispatching, Delivery, ...), and it is a lot of time to double check that the datas are consistent, that everyone paid the right amount for their order and shipping fees, or manually update the database for every single case (we have requests for translations in Spanish, German, Chinese, reviewers, bloggers, discounts for large pledges, and so on). So as I said, it sometimes happened that we promised a free copy, and lost the information during the process.
I know it sounds like we are cheap and we don't want to offer free stuff, but the reality is we try to avoid complexe situations to avoid problems and disappointment.
If you feel like helping the community and want to translate the rules anyway (again, we totally understand if you don’t want to « work for free »), you can download a blank version of the rulebook, to write over it with Photoshop or Indesign: http://www.laboitedejeu.fr/cor/CoR-Textless-rules-WIP.pdf and then share it on Boardgamegeek for instance.
After the campaign, it is possible that we close a deal with a foreign publisher to make Clash or Rage available in retail in its country, so the rulebook will be localized in the process.Last updated:
The Early Bird only offers a discount on your first game. If you want an extra copy, add 85€ to your pledge (for example, pledge 165€ (80+85) for 2 copies. Please note that there will be a discount on the shipping fees for extra copies. We will soon post the details for it.Last updated:
We were expecting this kind of reactions about our SG. There are different ways of thinking a Kickstarter campaign. You could either offer a pledge with a high price that allows you to add expensive stretch goals along the campaign, or you can offer a pledge with a low price and give more stuff right away from the beginning. Of course it is pleasant to unlock expensive stretch goals, but we didn't want to "trick" our backers by offering them what they already paid for :p We are very proud to offer a pledge at only 85€ with more than 70 minis right from the start. Our Stretch Goals are real extra free stuff, that you don't need to enjoy the game as it is. Anyway, we still have really nice SG in our sleeves, other than cards and minis, but since we gave already a big chunk in the basic content box, we have to save our surprises for later in the campaign :)Last updated:
Click the green "Manage my pledge" button (top-right corner of the page), and add the right amount to your pledge. For example, if you have an Early Bird (80€), and wish to add the add-ons bundle, change your pledge to 125€ (80 + 45).
A couple of months after the the Kickstarter campaign is finished, you will receive an invite for the Pledge Manager. It is a website where you will give us your address for the delivery, and pay the shipping fees. You will also be able to tell us what items you want to receive (which add-ons, which language, which box sleeve, etc).Last updated:
No, it is not possible. It would require to add 45 minis to the game, roughly doubling the number of minis, and so roughly doubling the price of the game as well. We prefere to offer a 85€ basic pledge rather than a 140€ basic pledge. Also, the elves don't move and usually get wiped out from the board in 2 or 3 turns, so it would be a really expensive feature that wouldn't really impact the game deeply. And finally, we thought it would cluter the board game, harming the visibility.Last updated:
