10' to kill is a deduction game, for 2 to 5 players, played in 10 minutes or so. There are 16 characters on the board, and each player secretly embodies one of them.. Each player also has 3 secret targets he must eliminate, without being discovered. The players have two actions each turn, (choosing from the following) : move any character anywhere on the board, eliminate a character (different ways of doing it), make an identity check by the police. The trick is, when a character is eliminated, nobody says by who or how ! You must apply yourself in blending your true hitman in a crowd of possible suspects, or guess which character is the hitman of the other players.
As time goes by in 10' to kill, you will feel pressure and suspicion weight on your shoulders. 10 minutes is a short time, but it can sometimes be very long when all eyes are on you! You'll have to bluff and use discretion to eliminate your targets ... and maybe the competitors hitmans!
Are you ready to become the most prestigious hitman?
10' to kill is our second game after Invazions (released in 2014). A year and half was needed to develop this well-balanced game and to create a unique, immersive and very tense gameplay. We are proud to introduce this game which is very important for us. We need you to fund it. We hope you will enjoy playing it as much as we do.
This artbook will contain at least 40 pages of existing and unreleased illustrations, showing the process of designing characters (those you've seen, and those you haven't ;) and background. You can add it to your reward(s) simply by adding 15 euros to your pledge (times the number of artbook you want). No extra shipping fees are required!
If you want more than one box, we can offer degressive prices from the second game to the fifth. But, if you want more than 5 games, please send a private message to discuss it. It all depends on where you want the games to be shipped.

For area1, just add 19 euros for every extra game to your initial pledge. For example, 3 games shipped to Germany will cost 26 + 19 + 19 = 64 euros (or 21.30 eur per game with shipping included)
For area2, just add 21 euros for every extra game to your initial pledge. For example, 3 games shipped to the USA will cost 26 + 21 + 21 = 68 euros (or 22.60 eur per game with shipping included)
For area3, just add 22 euros for every extra game to your initial pledge. For example, 3 games shipped to Australia will cost 26 + 22 + 22 = 70 euros (or 23.30 eur per game with shipping included)

Simple rules for a maximum of bluff and fun !
At his/her turn, a player has 2 actions among 3:
- Move a character on the board, including policemen.
- Kill a character.
- Investigate a character’s identity using a policeman.
A player can do the same action twice, but for killing. Only one kill per player and per turn is allowed.
Move a character :
A player can move any character he/she wants on the board, including policemen. To move a character, take it and put it on any other location tile.
Kill a character
Once per turn, a player may kill a character on the board. A character can only be killed with the player’s hitman. The hitman must use one of the 3 authorized weapons to kill: Gun, Sniper Rifle or Knife. The hitman must remain unseen when he kills his target. (For more details read the rules book). When a player performs a kill, he takes the victim and says: “this character has been killed”. The player never says nor reveals the character he/she used to do it or the way he/she used. Because keeping their hitman secret identities is an essential part of the game, players should try to kill with as many suspects as possible. But remember, a hitman can only kill someone if he/she is not seen by other characters or policemen!
Investigate a character’s identity
A player can choose to investigate the identity of a character on the board. Identity checks are performed only by policemen. Move a policeman on a tile with a character on it and investigate his identity. If the character is the player’s hitman, he must reveal it. The player who discovered the hitman's identity takes the character and the matching tile and put them in front of him.
A player is never eliminated from the game. Even when he /she has lost his/her hitman, the player can still play and win by discovering the identites of other players.
When the party is over, players count their prestige points according to what they have in front of them !
In the game there are 2 kinds of location tiles: normal and sniper rifle potential spot.
When starting a game, build the board as you want. We recommend that you do not make square. Let your imagination fly!
- English review :
"I can PERSONALLY guarantee you that this game will bring hours of fun to your tabletop...for only 19€. That, in my opinion, is a bargain."
Mister Jamie, boardgame chronicler.
"The game where you’ll need tactics, skill and cunning to win. 10 minutes to kill is beautifully simple and equally beautifully drawn that it seems it’s going to be a pleasure to play it."
Table top indie.
Benjamin's interview about the campaign
The game received a "Monsieur Guillaume approved", a nice and important reward from the chronicler "Monsieur Guillaume" from Tric Trac, the biggest boardgames French site. We are very proud of this!
"Terribly addictive!", Monsieur Guillaume from Tric Trac (http://www.trictrac.net/)

If you don’t understand French reviews, don’t worry, the only thing to remember is: this game is fun as hell! (according to my mother and some guy I met in a party).
The illustrations are signed by Pauline Detraz (http://paulinedetraz.fr/), a french artist. Her work is really fantastic. She has captured the mood of the game through characters both cute and vicious!
You can see below some of her wok:
And as we are fans of pop-culture, we asked her to put some easter-eggs in a few tiles! Examples:
We wanted the shipping fees to be as low as possible for everyone:
- 5€ for France
- 7€ for all others countries around the world
- Free, if you pick up the game at Le Nid, Cocon ludique in Paris (France)
La boite de jeu was born in late 2013. Benoit, Benjamin and Timothée have been knowing each other from high school, but have since worked in different fields. Gathered by their common love for boardgames, each one of them brings his own skills to the company. This teamwork allows them to publish games with a really good care: from a great idea to a great product.
Founder of La boite de jeu, Benoit is the core member of the company. He's also a game author (Invazions, 10' to kill) and uses his knowledge to interact with the authors, to choose the artists and to select the games-to-be. He's also a fairly average Magic player but he carries on hoping that one day he will go to pro-tour!
Benjamin studied Advertising in a French school and takes care of the communication aspect. From website creation to rulesheet page layout, he uses his skills to bring a proper communication for every game. He told us that once he opened the fridge using the Force, but we still have our doubts...
Man in the shadow, Timothée is the manager of the company. He takes care of the accounting, the logistics and so on, to make our player fantasies possible. He told us he's also the nephew of the cousin's brother of a guy who once knew the real Harry Potter!
Pauline is the artist of 10' to kill. Professional graphic artist she is all into illustration work, photo and video. She graduated from Emile Cohl school of art and she completed her training within ICOM Lyon (France). After serving for two years as art director in an advertising agency from Lyon (France), she now works on freelance for agencies, companies and individuals on various media creations. Pauline would like to be professional NBA player. But we haven't told her yet that she's not allowed to play with her feet.
A big thank you to Mathieu and Thibal who helped us a lot with this game! They are a bit ugly (so no photos to preserve your eyes) and wicked but they were very helpful.
The game will be produce in Poland by Axel.pl. We know this partner, we know the quality of his work and we are very confident for 10' to kill. This printer is already working with many boardgame publishers (Galakta, Pegasus spiel, etc...) and quality is always at its best.
After the campaign, we’ll need about 3-4 weeks of work to finalize everything and about 3-5 weeks for production (provided by the printer). Then the games will be sent to backers. That is why Septembre is a reasonable delivery time.
Thank you for your support!
Risks and challenges
10' to kill has already been designed and play-tested, so we can produce the game very
quickly after the Kickstarter campaign. We have all solutions for print and fulfilment of the
The biggest risk is a little delay but we have included a safety margin for that too!
Finally, the realistic estimated delivery of 10' to kill is Septembre 2015.
If anything very bad happened like an airplane crash on our studio, we’ll refund all backers...
if we are alive after the airplane crash, of course. Otherwise you can lawsuit our bereaved widows.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
