Kickstarter has one of the most passionate and businesslike gaming communities on the internet. We believe we will be able to receive some genuinely useful information to help with the development process.
The requirement for full-time team members, due to the enormous amount of content we plan to include in the game.
Other platform We are planning to port this game to platforms other than PC; namely Mac and 3DS, with the potential of expansion to mobile. Such an undertaking would put stress on the project in terms of staff commitment, which requires financial support.

Risks and challenges
a) Team members leaving the project.
Our team, while very dynamic and tight-knit, is quite geographically spread from New Zealand to China. We appreciate that this isolation may be an issue if certain team members are confronted with unexpected circumstances. We intend to negate this issue by having team members sign contracts regarding the project. However, if issues do arise, we are very well-placed to find competent replacements due to our strong networks within the industry.
b) Failing to raise sufficient funds for the full version of the game
We are supremely confident that the kickstarter community will see the potential of our indie project, and that your humble support will assist us in reaching our funding goals. However, we do appreciate that the community is a free entity, and has no obligation to fund our project. We have tentatively made plans for this scenario, and several Chinese and NZ investors have expressed interest in partial funding of the project( they want to change this game in to a free mobile game...), because we are really determined to get our game onto the market! However, due to obvious constraints that present with investors, we would much rather go with our Plan A of utilizing the fantastic kickstarter community!
