I received the regular and the raki edition last week. Sadly both books have been damaged in the upper right corner. Almost all pages have an earmark now. I tried to put them between heavy books to flatten them out again, but you can still see the damage:-(

My books are a little crunched in the top right corner and that's no problem, it happens. Cardboard boxes a la Amazon might be better next time but even those aren't perfect.

More sad are my signed prints which also got a bit crunched. I am going to frame them for display, so a little disappointed. But for real the physical books are way more spectacular than I anticipated!

Hey guys thanks for posting your comments, we're going to give it a few more days so that everyone has a chance to comment then we'll have a new update regarding the postage issues. Once again we're really sorry about this but please bear with us in the meantime.

Like Dan, my books have some pretty crunched up corners, but I don't mind. It's actually less damage than I expected based on the re-wrapping and the "We sincerely regret the damage to your mail during handling by the Postal Service" message added to the outer packaging. I second the use of sturdier packaging in the future :)

My books was a bit banged up in the corner, due to the fact there was no hard wrapping around the comics. It's OK, but possibly in the future some kind of protective cardboard around the comics would be a good idea?

Mine looked like it had been stabbed when it arrived. I was disappointed, but it’s okay. All of the damage in to the back few pages and cover, so it’s still readable.

Thanks Joey! Thanks Fergus! For those who do have complaints, I know Kickstarter doesn't allow pictures to be attached to comments, so if you need to attach a picture of any damaged books, please send an email to
