I started doing music for myself.
When I was 11 years old I received a guitar for my birthday, and having just gotten into heavy metal music, I was deeply intrigued by the complex guitar work and sought to make my own. I started recording at the age of 13, with ultra cheap gear, and made music that I wanted to listen to myself, that nobody else had recorded. I would play things that sounded new and recorded them down so I could listen myself. It was never to share with other people.
Now, years later at the age of 21, I'm looking to release music that others want to hear - "Dark Days", a 5 track EP that's been in the works for nearly a year. The first single was a hit, and I received the common question "When can I buy it?".
With the support of Truant's MYFHC, I've decided to make this project available for others. Knowing that there are incredible, amazing people out there who love the music I write and want to hear it and support it has driven me to make this a possibility. CDs and Vinyls are constant questions, and just as you all have made this EP a possibility, I'd like to offer ways for you to have it in your physical hands, beyond a boring download code.
This is where you come in.
Risks and challenges
The biggest risks facing "Dark Days" right now is a lack of funding. I am not a wealthy person by any means, and do not make a lot of money at my day job. I will be putting every penny I can into this project, but with the proper crowdfunding, we can make this release become a physical reality.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
