Siggraph, Website, Builds and Rewards

Hi!

Short update! Next week, we'll start sending out the Muses DVD's and I'm going to try and send out the digital downloads today.

Tomorrow I'll be flying out to Canada, for Siggraph 2014, where Krita will have a booth, for the first time! Hugely exciting and a huge amount of work, too.

But still... We went live to day with the new krita.org website design! Thanks are due to Scott Petrovic who did all the hard work! If you find anything that's broken, please report it on the forum!

There are some rather exciting big merges coming up, the multi-document branch is getting ready, as is the animation branch, the brush settings template branch -- and we're getting close to a huge speed-up when painting on huge images!

Here you can see two windows, side by side, of the same instance of Krita, showing the same image file in two windows, two zoom levels and completely synchronized. You can chose between tabs and subwindows, for now!

None of that is in the new Windows and OSX builds though, because the branches are close, but not quite merged yet!

Still, here are new builds:

These builds just contain boring old bug fixes and performance improvements... Note that the OSX build still is as experimental a primary school science fair.

Benjamin Green and Olivier Amrein like this update.
