Hello everyone!

Today i want to share the latest news and pictures from Gr2 spheres manufacturing process:

1.New packaging

My brother Karl helped me to create an awesome packaging design for the spheres. He has a great talent in logo designing and i am really happy to share the result with you. Below are pictures of the new packaging- i am sure you will love it.

The rounded packages are very durable so you don't need to worry about shipping damages- all rewards will be well protected.

2.Cooperation with my brother

My brother has helped me a lot with my other projects as well. Today he has launched his own Kickstarter project so I would like to help him by sharing it. It is a beautifully designed coin minted to remind, stay focused and break bad habits.

Please go and check it out HERE!

3. Coating process of the brass parts is finished

I want to explain you the coating process of the brass parts more detailed- after polishing each part is cleaned with special neutraliser to get rid of any chemical element that could accelerate the oxidation. After the cleaning they are immediately coated with the protective nano layer and put in the heated owen to dry the coating. This step is repeated two times to make sure the protection is long lasting. At the moment all brass parts are finished and will be delivered to us any day this week.

 4. Coating the copper lids

Our manufacturing partner had a small issue with the copper parts coating. The copper is more sensitive to high temperatures than brass. While testing the copper lid coating it turned out that it changed color when put in owen (see the darker copper lids on picture above). Therefore we need to use another coating method that does not require a high temperature. This process will be done in our workshop since our partner only deals with the heating method. At this point we requested to seal each lid in vacuum package to stop the oxidation while shipping to us. Then we will apply the neutraliser and our protective coating immediately after opening the packages. It is a bit slower process than the heated method because we need to wait at least 24 hours between each layer dries. This will not affect the protection so you will still get the best quallity product. The copper lids will be shipped to us this week along with the brass parts.

 3. Beautiful full brass spheres

Below are pictures of the shiny full brass spheres -with the protective coating and ready for the packaging.

 4. Shipping timeline!

Since we had the issue with the copper lids it will probably cause a small delay. We were promissed to get all those parts already coated therefore we did not plan this process in our timeline. However we will do everything in our power to make the coating faster and we plan to finish it next week. Your support is very important to us and I hope you understand that those small things sometimes happen when manufacturing a new product. The most important thing is to solve them ASAP.

We believe that we found the best solution in shortest possible time so we still plan to catch our timeline and start shipping in November. Until then we will keep you updated with the progress.

Best regards & till the next update,

Kristoph and team
