Hello Backers!

Thank you for following along on social media last week as I visited Shapco in Minneapolis, where The Revolution Is Female is being printed and bound. Your likes, shares, messages and comments mean the world to me. No worries if you were not able to follow along in real time, because this update will catch you up on all of the exciting news.

I flew to Minneapolis on Wednesday afternoon, and attended checkpoints at the printer on Thursday and Friday:

My team at Shapco was full of energy, positivity, and expertise. Without a doubt they have made this book look and feel the best she possibly can--right down to her soft matte finish. Meet my team:

Thank you, Jeff, Don, and Gary!

It was simply thrilling to witness The Revolution Is Female at the press. From the smell of the ink, to the grandness of the 8-color sheet feeder, to the level of professionalism I experienced from my team, all of my expectations were exceeded.

It was sad to say goodbye to my team at Shapco, who are now proceeding with the folding, trimming, sewing, and binding process of the book. This means I will be able to provide delivery dates very soon. So stay tuned for all of that! In the mean time, I am preparing all of your shipping labels and special requests, and getting geared up for the big shipping day, possibly two or three, that will happen at my mom's home in New Jersey. Distribution is going to be challenging but we are well prepared, and you can trust it will be catered with lots of healthy snacks and packed with loving hands.

For my International backers: The color photograph of Hillary above (in the screenshot of my tweet) is the signed print I would like to include in your shipments. As mentioned in my March 16th update, I will be sending you each a print in order to even out the expensive International shipping fees. If you are passionate about a different print, just let me know! I'm happy to accommodate your request. I chose this as the default image because it is the most popular amongst current backer print selections.

Thank you all again for joining me in this incredible process of creating The Revolution Is Female. I am so thankful for everyone who has been involved and cannot wait to get this book out to all of you!

XOXO,

Kristen Blush
