Oh my.

We are left with so many impressions to digest.  For us this means back to intensive work on the project, and there is nothing we would like better. We promise to go through all your comments and feedback in the days to come, and get back to everyone who still awaits answers.

And because we came so close, we’ll do the last Stretch Goal anyways!

We were so inspired by all your input and feedback during the last month, that we’d love to spend some time after release, and develop a secret DLC in collaboration with our wonderful backers. This will be a separate story or part of the game, that will be released for free once it's done. All of you who will receive access to the backer-forums are invited to join in a creative month of developing the DLC. The possibilities are endless!

Why does my payment say Red Thread Games?

We're lucky that the indie game community in Norway is a small and close community, and the wonderful people at Red Thread Games (working on the amazing Dreamfall) were kind enough to help us out with the practicalities surrounding an Amazon account. All contributions goes directly to the development of Among the Sleep.

Paypal

Even though all Kickstarter-tiers are closed, it’s still possible to pre-order a digital copy of the game from this link. This is also a way for those who missed the Kickstarter to support the ongoing development.

Forums

We’ll keep posting updates on Kickstarter, but if you would like to discuss anything with us, or others interested in Among the Sleep, please head on over to our forums! We’ll show the forum much love going forward.

Nordic Game Conference

We’ll be attending the Nordic Game Conference next week. If anyone would like to meet up, please don't hesitate to let us know on Twitter, Facebook or anywhere!

To conclude, in all seriousness: thank you all. You have no idea how much this means to us.

We love you.

So, just for other potential Kickstarters looking to support the Oculus Rift... PLEASE use the words "Oculus Rift" in your project description. If you do not, or use an image ( like on this project ) it will not be found by people searching for "Oculus Rift" in Kickstarters search. So people like me actively looking to back projects that support it, will never find your project :(

Cant`t wait when those second alpha and beta testing started in later of summer for those who are in that project. So far kb says second alpha is during summer and beta test when its ready. release for fullgame is anyway december or november 2013 i think. There might be even custom story support. As for indie game they need gamers keep game alive so it`s pretty lookalike there is custom story support too.

Would love to help test alpha/beta releases of this game !!! I have the Oculus Rift Dev Kit ( check my Kickstarter Profile ). I am also a software engineer and familiar with bug reporting and thorough software testing. I am also a backer ;)

Hi. I am still glad that I backed this project but I could do without the hourly updates on it's progress in my email. Especially when there are not really any updates on the project in the last hundred thousand updates you guys have done. I'm sure if anyone is interested in this type of minutiae, they will check your website.

Woo! \o/ I was wondering about the DLC, so I'm glad to hear it's happening. :D

I sure hope the consumer Oculus Rift is released by the time you guys finish development on Among the Sleep. I'm holding out for the consumer version, because it's GOING to be better in every way than the developer kit version, and it'll probably be cheaper as well. But man, it'll be such an interesting experience feeling like a 2 year old with the Rift on. ;)
