konverjdans (con-verge-dance) is the contemporary ballet company that we, Tiffany Mangulabnan, Jordan Miller, and Amy Saunder, co-founded in 2016. We took the leap from being solely dancers and performers, to fulfilling the roles of artistic directors, choreographers and administrators in order to create dance in collaboration with other artists in fields of music, visual art, lighting design, film, photography and literature. Here we are, three years later, launching our 2019 spring performances to celebrate the various backgrounds and experiences of all the artists who collaborate with us: 'konverjdans: III' (May 31 and June 1 at The Mark O'Donnell Theater at the Actors Fund Arts Center in Brooklyn).
This is an exciting celebration of three years of dance-making. We're producing our first two-night performance run in a New York City theater; working with a lighting designer for the first time; expanding our company to hire new dancers, composers and musicians; and embarking on our third annual choreographic residency at Silo Kirkland Farms. All in all, this is our most ambitious season yet, and we need your help to make it happen!
Help us pay for our dancers, musicians, lighting designer, videographer, daily rehearsal space, theater space, Silo residency, costumes, lighting equipment, pointe shoes. . . the list goes on.
We have perks for you too! Check them out! —>

Risks and challenges
All the events of our 2019 spring season are already set: our third annual choreographic residency to Silo Kirkland Farms is set for May 18-23, and our performances at The Mark O'Donnell Theater are set for May 31 and June 1. The only risk in this project is that if we don't reach our campaign goal of $3000, we (Amy, Jordan and Tiffany) will have to pay for production costs out of our own pockets.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
