They talked about "Scarecrows" on:
Land of Children's Books: "I read a lot of books. A lot. But this one is one of the best e-books I got to review in the last period. Illustrations: Great Great Great !!! And Again ! Great ! My Kids Liked it !"
Lisa Kay Tate: "I loved the message of Scarecrows, but there was much more to this simple book than that. This was about knowing there is someone out there who will love you and be your friend, no matter how alone you feel. The images were wonderfully rendered, each worthy of framing. Even the bleakest, most melancholy images were still beautiful, and somehow peaceful to look at."
Molly Kay Tate (age 12): "My first thought was Scarecrows was really cute, but it was also kind of sad, the way the little girl didn’t have any friends. I loved the artwork. What I liked best about this book was, despite everything that happened, it ended happy for the boy and girl, and it gave me hope."
"Scarecrows’ 72-pages of full colour splendor will not leave you indifferent. " - Artist Opus Magazine
Set in a desolate, dystopian future where the media(s) control the world, Scarecrows is a 72-page, full colour illustrated book with a mature, thought provoking story that will appeal to the whole family. If you’re a fan of Tim Burton you will appreciate the visual treatment, rich in colour and expressionist atmosphere, while those who love the written word will enjoy the originality of this poetic story.

Risks and challenges
Not getting funded is the one real risk we face. Scarecrows is complete and ready to go to the printers. The only other factors relate to printing and shipping. Our timescale for fulfillment is:
Within one week of the Kickstarter campaign closing all digital content will be emailed out. All items at each reward level (the book, t-shirts, postcards etc.) will be sent to the printers within a day or two of the campaign closing and the hand-made rag dolls will go into production at the same time. The printed book, the dolls and the other physical rewards will be delivered in early February.
Everything has been worked out ahead of time to avoid any waiting and as soon as we receive all materials we will work tirelessly packaging and shipping each order.
