Hello, backers!

It's time for a mid-day recap. This morning you unlocked a new module for Mezo, the City Tokens.

Players have been blessed with a thriving city whose people will grant them boons during the game. As long as your city still stands you'll be able to collect rewards. However, if the region containing your city is conquered by another player your city will be lost. With the city module players are forced to either defend or abandon their city as conflicts break out each age. Will you be a god of protection or conquest?

Souls for Xibalba:

You've all done an amazing job at knocking down these stretch goals. here's what backers of this campaign will receive for FREE in the Souls for Xibalba expansion:

  • 2 new gods: each with their 6 action cards, god reference card, mini (or standee for Tribe pledge), and reminder god token Ritual card module
  • 9 cards Tribe power module
  • 5 tribe power tiles Prophecy module
  • 7 cards & 15 tribe tokens Solo mode
  • 24 cards & 9 tokens
  • 6 new altar tokens
  • 3 new wrathful tiles
  • 5 City tokens

Updated Stretch Goals:

We've been listening to your comments and to help keep everyone motivated we're changing the current stretch goals and will reveal the path to the next god, Xolotl.

Foreign Language editions:

To our foreign language backers. We still have a day and a half left in the campaign to reach the 250 backer minimum for a full language print of Mezo. If we're unable to meet those minimums, then backers of those levels can either get a refund or get an English copy of Mezo that includes the free Souls for Xibalba expansion.

Reminder to AU/NZ Backers:

A quick reminder to our backers in Australia and New Zealand. Thanks to our shipping partners we were able to reduce the shipping cost in your region from $35 to $20. However, we cannot change the shipping prices in the middle of a campaign. Instead, we've fixed the prices on the back end in the Crowd Ox pledge manager. This means, that if you paid $35 for shipping through Kickstarter, you'll have a $15 credit to apply to other items.

Best,
