What is Statly?
Statly is an all-in-one observability platform that combines uptime monitoring, status pages, and error tracking. Instead of paying for UptimeRobot + Statuspage + Sentry separately, you get everything in one connected platform.
Is Statly a new product or is it already available?
Statly is live right now at statly.live. This isn't a concept or prototype, you can sign up for a free account today and start using it. We're crowdfunding to accelerate development of advanced features like mobile apps and synthetic monitoring.
What types of monitoring does Statly support?
HTTP/HTTPS — Web endpoint monitoring with custom headers and body validation
WebSocket — Real-time connection testing
TCP — Port connectivity checks (databases, Redis, custom services)
DNS — Record verification (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS)
API — JSONPath validation for API responses
What notification channels are supported?
8 channels: Email, Slack, Discord, Webhooks, PagerDuty, Microsoft Teams, Opsgenie, and SMS
What error tracking SDKs are available?
SDKs for JavaScript (@statly/observe), Python (statly-observe), and Go (statly-go). Framework integrations include Express, Next.js, Fastify, Flask, Django, FastAPI, Gin, and Echo.
What is Statly Code?
Statly Code is our upcoming private Git hosting platform with pull requests, issue tracking, CI/CD, and AI-powered code review. It's included in the Pro+Code tier and will be available to Enterprise backers.
Is this a subscription or one-time payment?
All Kickstarter rewards are one-time payments for lifetime access. You pay once and never pay again. After the campaign, Statly will be subscription-based for new users.
What does "lifetime access" mean?
You get access to Statly Pro (or your tier) forever. As long as Statly exists, you have access. No monthly fees, no annual renewals.
Can I upgrade my tier later?
Yes. During the campaign, you can increase your pledge to upgrade. After the campaign, contact us to pay the difference.
Why is the Early Bird limited to 100?
We're offering an aggressive discount to our earliest supporters. Limiting quantity ensures we don't over-discount and creates urgency for potential backers.
Do team members cost extra?
No. Statly has no per-seat pricing. Add your entire team at no additional cost.
When do I get access?
Immediately after campaigns success.
Can I try before I pledge?
Yes! Sign up for a free account at statly.live. Free tier includes 10 monitors, 5-minute intervals, and 3 probe regions. No credit card required.
What's the refund policy?
We follow standard Kickstarter refund policies. However, since the product already exists, we encourage you to try the free tier before backing to ensure it meets your needs
Where is my data stored?
Statly runs on Cloudflare (edge workers, D1 database) and AWS (Lambda probes). Data is stored in Cloudflare's global infrastructure with encryption at rest.
Is Statly secure?
Yes. Security measures include:
TLS 1.3 encryption for all connections
API keys hashed with SHA-256
Webhook signatures use HMAC-SHA256
Multi-region redundancy
Part of this funding goes to professional security audits
Is Statly SOC 2 compliant?
Not yet. SOC 2 Type 1 certification is on our roadmap and part of why we're raising funds. We're committed to enterprise-grade security.
Can I use Statly for client projects?
Yes. The Agency tier ($299) includes 3 organization licenses specifically for managing multiple clients. White-label option is included to remove Statly branding.
Does Statly have an API?
Yes. Full REST API with documentation at statly.live/docs. API access levels vary by plan:
Free: Read-only
Hobby+: Full API access
What is MCP/AI integration?
Statly includes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server with 30+ tools. AI assistants like Claude and Cursor can manage your monitors, query status, and access documentation through natural language.
What if features are delayed?
We'll communicate delays immediately, explain reasons, and provide revised timelines. Transparency is a core value. If delays exceed 12 months, we'll offer partial refunds.
When is Statly Code available?
Statly Code is in active development. Early access for Pro+Code and Enterprise backers is expected ~2 months post-campaign.
What happens if the company shuts down?
Statly runs on commodity infrastructure, not proprietary servers.

We want to build a sustainable, customer-focused business without the pressure to grow at all costs. Crowdfunding lets us raise capital while staying accountable to users, not investors.
What if the campaign doesn't reach its goal?
Kickstarter is all-or-nothing — if we don't hit the goal, no one is charged.
Is my pledge tax-deductible?
No. This is a commercial product purchase, not a charitable donation.
