Everyone has a right to their opinion.

@mark p, you need to relax the "attitude". Just because I asked the question does not make me greedy and I also really don't need a lecture from someone like you who means nothing to me in my life.

Like Dr.Kurland stated "it doesn't hurt to ask". That was my thought in my comment, because you never know unless you ask. I have nothing to lose, because all they have to do is say "no".

      I agree with Matt

Extra Jerky is Extra. Are we really quibbling about how much extra each of us is entitled to?

Can't wait to find out what the surprise new flavor is!

@Mark - your initial point is well taken. However, if we follow the argument that it's not a store, any discussion of margin goes out the door as well. Can't have it both ways.

    9. Dr. Michael Kurland on

It doesn't hurt to ask Curt, but I they are giving a little extra to everyone because of their great success.

      Gotta go with Mark also.

@curt; This has been said in many other projects - Kickstarter isn't a store. When you decided to _back_ this project, you picked a level that you were comfortable with. The rewards of backing are to be thought of as extras, a "thank you" from the company for your _gift_ of funds. As a project funds, and in this case, gets to 30x their expectations, the project founders _may_ offer stretch goals and additional gifts. There's nothing in the Kickstarter agreement that says they have to. _If_ the project decided to add stretch goals and gifts, then it's important to understand that this is additional money out of their pockets. When a project gathers 30x the expected funding, it's not additional spare cash in the corner - it's additional product that they have to deliver. They're still running on the same margins.

In short... Don't get greedy, accept all gifts as they are - gifts. If you felt comfortable coming in at a higher pledge point at the beginning, then that's great. But it doesn't grant you extras _gifts_.

Yeah, I am inclined to agree with Matt on this.

Why would we? Because it's a double-pack? No, this is a very generous, completely unwarranted, extra reward from KRJ. Something they didn't have to do at all.

I am sure that others want to know. Do we ($75 & $100 backers) get more than one extra jerky; as compared to the $7 backer?
