About

For the duration of the kickstarter, everyone can get all available DungeonWorks sets at GameDecor.com, for $2 off each set.

Use the code "Unearthed Evil" (without the quotes) at checkout to apply the discount on your order.

Game Decor has partnered with a very talented 3D artist under the banner of “DungeonWorks” and is launching its 2nd Kickstarter to bring even more varied dungeon tiles and themes to your tabletop.  These are high resolution 3D printer files of modular dungeons and accessories.  To be clear, the rewards are digital and not physical.

There are currently 3 lines of models with a total of 17 sets in 11 uniquely themed dungeons containing over 1,000 models in all and this KS will add 3 more unique themes and sets.

- Classic Encounter consists of the most common and generic locations from classic settings, such as the gothic stone dungeon, the dank caverns, and the half timbered town, all of which is easily compatible among the majority of fantasy settings.

- Vintage Vault is inspired by iconic computer based dungeon crawling role playing games, and now those legendary settings are yours to design.

- Lost Realms is driven by a high fantasy setting with tales of epic proportions. A wholly original setting from the mind of the artist, where each set tells its own story.

DungeonWorks is designed for vertical printing to enhance the output quality of the highly detailed pieces and to maximize the number of pieces you are able to print in one run on your machine's bed. The models have also been designed to not require the use of supports.

InfinityLock is an efficient and versatile locking system specifically designed for 3D printed modular terrain, to be future-proof expandable, durable, and adaptable.  InfinityLock requires no printed supports, so everything is immediately ready for paint or play, fresh from the printer bed.

Thanks to InfinityLock, DungeonWorks is 100% compatible with both DragonLock and Openlock systems using free adapters. Our template dimensions are also compatible with the other systems so while the art may be different, your figures aren't going to trip over any major ledges and the grid remains the same.

Hidden away in the side of a windswept mountain, buried beneath centuries of ice and snow, a foreboding breach carved into the cliff face holds long forgotten evils. Rubble strewn paths lead deeper into the cold heart of the mountain. Even animals avoid the unnatural curves and chasms of this cursed mountain. The dwarves won't mine there. They say that the stone is dead and tainted by the abyss; if you stay too long, you will end up as cold and lifeless as the void.

What started out as a mining penitentiary for convicts guilty of treason to the throne, eventually became tunneling halls of death and decay. It is said that the prisoners formed a rebellion and the royal courts authorized the sealing of the pens. There were rumors that there was an outbreak of the plague, but the truth is that this plague was different. The infected rotted and withered away, but they did not die. Something unholy was uncovered at the bottom of the mines and it spread to the pens.

Monstrous burrow mounds have been showing up around the countryside. Rangers identified the tunnels as being made by purple worms, but these tunnels twist and turn in illogical ways. Something is driving these worms into a burrowing frenzy, but the outlying villages and travelers in the area have not been attacked. Folklore and fairytales speak of a slithering evil that was an a towering draconic nightmare of unspeakable horror. Rivaling armies united under the banner of The Sun to defeat this vile beast. Binding it in ethereal shackles, it was cast deep down into the earth and sealed in myth.

This set features chipped stone walls reinforced by timber and brick with well worn stone floors and scattered bits of rubble. Quickly crafted makeshift doors made from scraps of lumber barely hold back a draft.

With this set, we're really taking advantage of our new alternative wall design that sits on a 1" wide base. This allows for a much deeper amount of detail and really gives that chunky dungeon feel from the early D&D days. We're also starting our packaging reorganization with this set.

Taken from the stretch goals from KS1 and updated. If you missed out on the last kickstarter, you can now get the awesome boulder trap and other deadly disfiguring doohickeys such as the Dreaded Dwarven Death Device. If you backed us for KS1, you've already got everything in this pack.

Our first foray into the realm of printable figures is with a variety of 3 Purple Worm Larva on 2x2 bases for a mere $5 addon.

Much like the tadpole, the larva of the purple worm have temporary limbs. These tiny arms help them navigate their dungeon environment to consume dead adventurers and monsters all the same. As they mature, the limbs will slowly transition into the spiked jowl flaps of the adult to help them burrow through earth and rock until they are ready to escape the relative safety and confines of the stone dungeon.

DungeonWorks bring you the first fully modular and completely configurable 3D printable dice tower. Make it as short or as tall as you want. Mix and match pieces to create the dice roller that fits your situation. Need something small and portable for your D&D game? Use the small tray and one level of tumblers. Need something decorative, but still useful for your Warhammer game? Add a couple levels of tumblers or just make it decorative with the guardhouse module. Need to roll 20 lbs of 12mm D6 for Shadowrun? Attach the large tray and get rolling! Arrange the tumblers to roll front to back, side to side, or even a corkscrew. The specially designed multi angle funnel in the tower's cap allows for the dice to spiral down the "drain" to maximize the travel of the dice and ensure a thoroughly rolled dice.

Risks and challenges

There is very little (if any at all) risk of this project not completing and people receiving their items as all of the items shown in render form are already finished. The only time consuming process is the conversion and testing of digital models to something that works physically. Due to the success of the previous DungeonWorks Kickstarter, we've been able to convert and test the majority of the models for this project and greatly reducie the turnaround time. But then again, things beyond our control do happen, such as fires, meteors, and acts of Godzilla. Either way, all of those things would only delay digital delivery, not stop it.

This is Game Decor's 3rd Kickstarter and the 2nd for DungeonWorks.
Due to the digital nature of this project and our online residence in one of the major internet server farms, digital distribution reliability is guaranteed and physical shipping delays will not be an issue.
