- AKEM STATE is a 2D Action / Adventure RPG game that will be developed in the beautiful style known as METROIDVANIA, with this we want to create a mechanics easy to learn but hard to master.
- The game will be developed on UNITY and for the next platforms:
- Playstation 4
- XBOX One
- Steam (PC/Mac/Linux)
- Wii U or (Nintendo NX)
We are going to recreate the exploration of Metroid and Catlevania games have, we will make every single background be different for the player can create his own map on the head like the Dark Souls or Bloodborne saga, Of course the map will be there in case you get lost.
In the game will be two options to confront the enemies, Action mode where you break apart the enemy team, but it will not be an easy task or the Stealth mode based on games like Metal Gear Solid and the saga Tenchu stealth assassins where the enemy is always hunting you, if you're detected they are going for your head or if they lose you they are going to hunt you down.
The story takes place after the Geo-sismo partially destroys the earth and the human race is reduced on 37%.
Japan is the first country to recover from this incident and also to discover a new material called agamita. They establish it as the most powerful energy on earth, but is too unstable to be used, so they work for years to create a way of concentrate the energy through a catalyst.
Then the Agamita is considered a relic for the future of humanity as it requires a small amount of material to get a lot of energy, allowing us to survive in space to ensure our legacy.
The whole world is at war for the precious material, and starts to be governed by the rule survival of the fittest
Asher is a young man which the war for the Agamita show him since her childhood that life hits hard, and after surviving two long years on the shadow from the Claw of Horus the army who take it all from him, suddenly is forced to accept the help from a stranger that will teach him that who survives must keep fighting, not knowing he still has a long way to fall.
LOCATION AND BACKGROUND
The game will be developed in UK 187 years after Geo-sismo, getting with this the opportunity to create European environments, cold countries sparsely populated that represents the cruelty of war and cities with a cyberpunk style which contrasts with the cleaning of forests covered by snow.
Places where the characters will unwrapped and live his story, scenarios with a touch of nostalgia retro that you will remember like Ghost in the Shell, Akira and Cowboy Bebop.
We will continue using 2D animated sprites to achieve a beautiful visual aspect in each character movement and expressions to give an amazing old school look to the game.
All the tiers will include a special backer only content:
- Boric helmet
- Special melee weapon
- Special custom oufit
- Armor and outfits: The appearance of the character will be depend of the gear your using on the moment.
- Primary weapon: You will find many types of fire guns, from hand cannons to heavy machine guns that will be useful when facing the toughest enemies .
- Mecha system: When you control one of these beauties you will increase the potential of weaponry with a heavy shell to withstand of heavy attacks, you will also have the option to improve parts agree to what you need.
- Dodge movement: The suit will fit the body musculature to generate a frontal jump or a back dash to avoid any surprise attack.
- Familiar gear: Its a companion which will scan the map as you progress through stranger paths.
- Secondary weapons: There will be grenades, ropes, shields and knife to defend yourself or rip apart your enemies with melee attacks. You choose.
- Double jump: Of course a skill that can not be put aside in this kind of games.
- Wall jump: One of the best moves in any type of game, you will need it to reach places unreachable.
- Puzzles: You'll encounter all kinds of puzzles from quick and easy to optional masterpieces that stash great rewards.

Risks and challenges
I have been planning this project for some years, since I was in school to be exact, with the time I've been polishing the bases for the game, like history, drawing, animation and characters with the skills i'm gained from university, movies, anime, manga and the passion for video games.
The problems are in any long term project and this is not the exception but we and the developer teams are ready to confront any obstacle that stands in our way, with the tools and skills each one of the artists have.
