We’re adding another console to our constellation of platforms blessed by the Goddess -- Moon Hunters is now available for purchase on the Xbox One.

Xbox One users will at last be able to enjoy the world of Issaria and weave legends with their friends. Get a copy for you or a friend now and have some sweet co-op fun! (Fun fact: we designed couch co-op to be at the heart of Moon Hunters.

In other Moon Hunters news, we’ve added the Chinese translations to the Steam build! That brings us to a total of 9 languages now. Thank you to our global community for the continued support and love!

The Shrouded Isle Updates

On August 4th (just over 2 weeks!!), The Shrouded Isle is coming out on Steam. We can’t wait for you all to explore the eldritch mysteries of the island and its violently devout inhabitants. We’ve added some new colors and features we think you’ll enjoy, including the ability to rename your villagers at will.

Pretty colours~

Clean up your altars and be prepared. Our Lord is awakening.

Kitfox on Discord

We’ve launched a Discord server! We thought it’d be a cool way for our lil’ community to interact with us more directly, see what’s happening with our games, and maybe even get to know each other a bit (we think you’re all pretty great).

Right now there are channels for things like Moon Hunters, The Shrouded Isle, fan art, Twitch and “supersecretupcomingproject”... Hmmmmm….. What could it be? ;) (I’m seriously going to blab everything out one day GAH.)

We’ll officially announce our Discord on our pages soon, but thought you guys would get the details first. Feel free to join! We’ll see you there.

Cheers, Victoria & the Kitfox team

Exciting news team - congratulations! I shall buy it again so I can play it on my couch. Just wondering: is it available on XBox One worldwide? Can't seem to find it in the store, but I'm wondering if that's because I'm in Australia?

      Hey @Larke Galyan, @Edwart T.!
We've been inviting any of our PS4 backers to email us at info@kitfoxgames.com to see what we can do for them, like a voucher for the PC version.
We're definitely taking the comments to heart though, and if it's something any of you want to discuss in depth, we're completely open to a more back-and-forth conversation at the email I mentioned!
Sorry for all of the frustration; it's not something we're trying to skim over. We'll always be working towards improvement both with Moon Hunters and in general.

Okay, now I'm getting really miffed. Why are the PS4 backers being stuck with half the product we paid for? We aren't just missing out on the new content, we didn't even get the update for the basic mechanical improvements.

If the PS4 port was more work than expected, then just say so! Be honest, don't just drag your customers along. Give the PS4 backers a voucher for a PC version, or something. The dishonesty just feels like we've been ripped off, and makes me not want to play the "full" version on principle, despite liking what I played on PS4.

This is ridiculous. Please do SOMETHING for your PlayStation backers, if there are truly no updates in the works. This kind of neglect is really unacceptable.

      @James Slade
According to their comments in the previous update, they don't even plan on bringing it to PS4.

First excluding online co-op, then kept the DLC exclusive to PC, and now bringing it to Xbox One (a platform that didn't even contribute to the Kickstarter campaign) but not PlayStation 4. It seems like a clear message to me that they set out to sucker money out of PlayStation backers and supporters, and since that has already been accomplished, there's no longer any need for them to further support that version of the game anymore.

I can only hope that if they ever decide to bring The Shrouded Isle to PS4, it won't be a another gimped experience with gimped support.

Is the PS4 still waiting on the expansion?
