5 Stack, A Chip Stacking Game of Strategy and Chance (Canceled)
5 Stack is an incredibly "easy to learn" chip stacking board game, that involves strategy and chance. Fun for 2-6 Players, Ages 5+.
5 Stack is a chip stacking game with the perfect balance of strategy and chance. It is designed for 2-6 players, ages 5 & up. Players score points by creating stacks of 5 or more chips by either moving chips on the board or rolling the dice to place new chips. 5 Stack is a relatively fast-paced game and rounds can be as fast as 3-4 minutes for the speed demons and 20 or more minutes for those that like to chat and "cut up" while playing board games.
5 Stack is a captivatingly simple to play board game. When we developed the concept for 5 Stack, I wanted to create a board game that was simple enough for our daughters to play and understand but also interesting enough that I could invite adult board game veterans over and still have a blast. 5 Stack achieves both perfectly.
At 5 Stack's core, lies a straightforward but interesting game mechanic that contains the perfect balance of strategy and chance. The strategy element creates a meaningful game-play for those that like to dive deep into a game and try to outsmart their opponents. There is also enough chance to make the game exciting and surprising, allowing for some unexpected twists and turns. This combination means winning can be up for grabs for even the "I never play board games" person.
Whether you are young or old, new to board games or a seasoned vet, you will have a blast playing 5 Stack.

One of the things we wanted to do from the beginning of the project was to manufacture the entire game here in the USA. It took some extra work and cost, but we are happy and proud to display the "Made in the USA" badge on our game. Most companies like to keep their manufacturing facilities a secret, but we are happy to share the great companies we are working with to create this game. We want to help support the people and businesses that are helping make this game a reality.

Based on past experience, we will be charging shipping after the Kickstarter concludes based on the actual costs incurred to ship. We will collect this via our pledge manager after the campaign ends. This is so we can be fair to all our backers as shipping is rarely one size fits all, and also give you more stretch goodies and possibly a choice of carrier options.
Following is a list of rough estimates for shipping ONE Original Edition game package (3lb 6oz / 1.6kg volumetric weight). Keep in mind these are just estimates, and costs may rise based on weight increases from unlocked stretch goals and any optional buys you choose.
USA: $10-$12 to most states. $15-$20 to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto RIco. CANADA: $15-$30 to most cities. LATIN AMERICA: $30 - $40 to most countries. ASIA: CHINA, HONG KONG, and most other countries: $35-$45 (we can't predict an estimated cost to Malaysia). RUSSIA: $50-$75. OCEANIA: $35-$45 to Australia and New Zealand. AFRICA: $50-$75 to most countries. Europe: $30-$40 to most countries. If we left your country off we are sorry. Unfortunately, different import laws and customs have made it impossible for us to ship games to certain specific countries.
Risks and challenges
With any Kickstarter project, there is always risks and challenges, especially because the final product has not been produced yet. This will be my 25th Kickstarter project, and I will do my best to be completely transparent about any aspect of the project. I have done my very best to represent the final product as accurately as possible but there is always a chance that the final product might vary slightly or substantially based on unforeseen production issues. While we do not foresee this happening it is important to know this going into this project.
We can refund you within 14 days of the campaign’s end, fees included. After that, we have a policy of no questions asked, though that’s minus Kickstarter and payment processing fees (which we can’t get back from them after 14 days). However, if we’ve begun packaging your pledge for shipment (usually 4 to 6 weeks before the actual shipping date), no refunds are possible. If a component cannot be delivered AT ALL, we refund that completely, including fees.
All refunds after the 14 days close of the campaign may be processed via Paypal or reversed via Stripe to your credit card at our discretion. Refunds within 14 days are reversed via Stripe to your credit card.
This project is being funded in USD and any refunds processed will be in USD for the exact amount received in USD, excluding any applicable fees depending on the time of the refund being processed.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By pledging to this project, you acknowledge that the final look, materials and content of the rewards (and the project) are subject to change and may differ substantially from what is presented while the Kickstarter project was active.
If you do not log in and confirm your pledge within 8 weeks of our notification via email to confirm your pledge, you agree that we have fulfilled our obligations to you in full for payment or donations received. However, we may, at our discretion, refund or ship your pledge if you contact us and confirm your pledge after the 8-week window has elapsed. Unconfirmed pledges make it difficult for us to plan production and logistics and lead to project delays. For this project we do not intend to allow this to happen, which may mean if you confirm your pledge too late, exclusive items may not be produced in sufficient quantity for your pledge.
If you confirm your pledge within 8 weeks of our notification via email, you agree that our responsibility to you is to ship your order as entered into our pledge manager system, that title and risk passes to you upon delivery to a common carrier for such shipment, and you are responsible for import duties or any other duties that may be payable to the relevant tax authorities, providing correct address information and ensuring this address is deliverable by normal methods. We regret we are unable to ship to PO Boxes.
If you do not accept these terms, please do not pledge on this project but instead wait for the general release.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
