I really hope basebuilding takes a backseat to a well armoured and upgradeable base that opens unit options with tier unlocks. Field strucyures like towers or bunkers are great ideas but building structures to release units is tedious and removes from tactical execution of units which is why people play rts. Dawn of War 2 sucessfully removed base building in favor of poont control mechanics and currently Ive not found a better rts. I teally hope there is a lean in this direction.

Wow! Not since StarCraft and StarCraft II have I been this excited about an RTS game. Great job and I can't wait to see the alpha, beta, and final product.

      Cheers,

@peer: Thanks for the info. In our previous three campaigns that never was an issue. So I hope it won't be this time.

The updates on this KS sites always look fine. This gap issue just happens inside the email updates. So I just got used to read and watch the updates on the KS site here.
I was just curious because those gaps happen since your first project and never ever got fixed through your four KS projects. I nver saw those obnoxious gaps in ANY other KS email from other companies but KAG.
I just thought it was a good time to point that out. It's no issue, just a nuisance which let the emails look a little unprofessional. But at long your games are fine those odd email formats are no problem. :)

@Andreas: Hehe. I'm pretty sure that's transparent GIFs we use to give the mails some structure. It's super crude, of course, but without these little images the formatting on the site here looks awful. I guess now the site looks better but the mails look worse?

Question out of curiosity. From all KS updates, King Arts Games KS email updates are the only ones which have those odd empty format gaps between paragraphs but not on the KS site.
I am just wondering as I observed this also by their former campaigns as well and in every single email.

Mechheads approve. Now implement Mechs stomping on people and punching each other and you're golden.

      Very nice gameplay video!

I would suggest to change the sound of the gun from the big mech though, I can imagine it can be quite repetitive - you can notice that in the short video already.

      I love the video!

Wenn ich auf www.iron-harvest.com unterstütze, zählt das nicht für die Goals auf in der KS-Kampagne oder? Also nicht besonders Kickstarter fördernd?

I hope you are aware of the fact that PayPal often freezes accounts until companies can prove that they have delivered what backers payed for. Since you need that money for creating the game itself it will be impossible to prove that you have delivered.

Really cool video. thanks guys! the destruction in this game is awesome. I do hope there is lots of base building options as well, although I have the feeling it is more like company of heroes in that manner.

If I backed the game on kickstarter, how do I get a gift copy for a friend of mine?
