TISKA London is a British fashion label that is inspired by all things Nordic and promotes positivity, strength and independence in women. Each striking yet timeless collection is based on Nordic themes and stories written by the designer, Kimberley Stacey, all of which have strong central female characters. The first collection is called Lilya saga and is inspired by the story of a young Icelandic woman travelling to Sweden and discovering a hotel made of Ice. The brand also champions slow fashion and makes every item to order so you can connect to the clothes on a more intimate level.

Where is the money going?
Funding from this campaign will cover the cost of getting duplicates made, in order to gain more recognition for further exposure. This includes for the use of stylists, press, for celebrities to wear and also to show buyers at trade and fashion shows. It will enable me to launch small production runs so that the clothes can accessed in a variety of different locations and, it will get me one step closer to taking up the amazing opportunity to stock my clothes in 2 of the world's fashion capitals.
Meet the Designer
KIMBERLEY STACEY - FOUNDER AND FASHION DESIGNER
After achieving a degree in Fashion Design and Technology at Manchester Metropolitan University I became a mum to Harvey who is now 7 (and is amazing!) I launched TISKA London August 2017 and it is reaching new heights with being featured in British VOGUE, invites to fashion shows worldwide and Celebrity interest. It has been hard work juggling work and being a single mum but it has been very much worth it.
I understand the importance of being strong and independent – something I strive to show through my label and designs.
INSPIRATION BEHIND THE ASTRLID CARDIGAN
This Nordic Cardigan was designed with Astrlid in mind. Astrlid is Lilya’s best friend but is also the Nordic Goddess of love and passion. She brought light and fire into the universe and put the sun in the sky. Astrild promotes health, happiness and peace among all living things and, as a result, she expects those that worship her to do the same.
You also have Aria's dress, retailing at £295. Available in UK sizes 8-14 in black, white and orange.

Risks and challenges
The relationship between the designer and you when you make an order always goes beyond the purchase. This means you get a different kind of care and quality. The focus is on the details and being the best we can be; we produce timeless, high quality garments with exceptional levels of service.
TISKA London is proud to be a slow fashion designer, each garment is designed and made with love, hence, your purchase will take anywhere between 10 days and 3 weeks to arrive at your door. An influx of orders may slow down production and delivery slightly. However we do have a great manufacturing team on board to help and you will be updated every step of the way.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
