About this project
This is a concept I came up with after a especially talkative pizza delivery guy came to my door one night. What do you do when the guy who brings you your pizza has more in mind than the amount of tip you leave him?
The story follows four college girls at a sleepover after a raging party at one of their houses. No one thinks twice about the pizza they had delivered earlier in the night until Hannah gets a disturbing phone call. The guy who delivered the pizzas is back and is out for blood. After a series of events in which the manager of the pizza place shows up unannounced the girls face their would be killer face to face.
This short film is psychological thriller that all horror movie fans will appreciate. Not relying for the cheap scares and gags to scare the audience this movie will make you double think ordering delivery food again.
With the experienced crew and acting talent available in Wilmington, NC this film will have all the quality of a bigger budget film on the limited budget we are working with. Your support will help us make a project worthy of any film festival.
Casting is currently underway and as we know our talent we will update with videos and bios.
Risks and challenges
As with most independent films we run the risk of having issues with crew and cast availability not to mention the equipment that Murphy's Law says will probably end up with some kind of issues. We have an experienced crew (with many other connections) ready to face any challenge together and give up their weekends between projects to make this film happen.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Because your money will help a great crew of people in Wilmington get to have fun together and make a movie that could be the foot in the door that any one of us might need.
Yes, your money will go directly towards paying for the equipment, props, locations and paying our wonderful actors just a small amount for their time and sacrifice during the week that it will take to make this project.
Yes, if we could make this project with our own hard earned money we wouldn't be asking. That being said movies aren't made for free (unless you are very lucky) and therefore any small amount that you can give us will make the dreams of a small group of people that much more likely to come true.
Yes, everyone from the $25 or more will get to see the final product and will hopefully be happy with it. This movie will be submitted to festivals which could lead to a larger audience getting to share in something that you helped happen.
No, if we make our goal you are only out the amount of money that you have pledged here. If by some reason we don't make our goal you are out nothing and it's like this never really happened.
Yes, many a short film or student film has turned into a major motion picture. I was just reminded the other day that recent release and box office hit "Mama" started as a short on YouTube. Helping fund this project really can help.
