Water Bound Blues is a short film about a boy who is ignored by his parents and abused by his brother. He is lonely and wonders to himself if he would be missed if he were to disappear. Only through a near-death experience is he brought closer to his family.
The project explores the question of what is family? The answer varies from case to case, but in the end we all have something in common. No matter what you do, or what you've been through, family is love. Unconditional love. You may go through a lot with them, and sometimes you even wish they weren't around, but at the end of the day, you're all together. If faced with possible death, what would you do to see your family again?
The film will be shot in Los Angeles this coming spring with some very talented masterminds on board.
Please consider what it means to help me fund this project. You are becoming a patron of the arts. Even $1 is meaningful. Each dollar and cent is essential in the making of the film. It's almost Christmas. This is the gift that keeps giving, and gives back to you. It's almost New Year's. Make your resolution to help out someone in need. Along with filmmaking comes a large price tag. We need the funds in order to rent equipment, pay for a studio teacher, location fees, props, production design, wardrobe, permits, camera rental, food, transportation, professional sound mixing, and more. It all adds up, and I need your help.
