International Shipping Update

Dear international backers (sans Canada),

Over the next couple of days you will be receiving notices and/or requests for more information (if necessary) as e drive toward mailing everything out this week. Please watch your mail and spam folders for those notices.

Apologies for the recent radio silence, we've been on a series of "one more day is all we need..." but alas have not been able to pull it together until today. Our issue (which we believe is now overcome) was with the freight forwarders, who were also frustratingly unresponsive/unhelpful. We've overcome that obstacle (our contact also left, adding to the dropped balls/delays) and are now full steam ahead.

Best wishes for a happy healthy western holiday to all of our backers!!

Dave

I don't think that any emails were sent

Are we supposed to get some email? It looks like I'm not the only one who have not gotten any.

      Anyone got any?

Last backerkit e-mail I received was sent on August 28th labelled "Last call to update your shipping address". All data are correct as might be for most of us old-worlders. So where's the problem concerning international backers?

Hello, I have not received any mail yet... Is that ok??

Thanks for the update, Dave. I spent seven months doing accounting and some customer service at a freight company and I know you must have been very frustrated with the freight forwarder's inability to get their act together.

Please update the international backers once the goods get to the forwarder and are on the boat. Next time, I recommend sending out the international orders first as they seem to be much more of a pain and take longer than U.S. and Canadian cartage operators.
