Two songs for you

Hello Everybody,

First of all, I wanted to say thank you for all your generous donations and also for helping spread the word about the project.  Hopefully we will meet our goal and be able to spread David's work even further.

I wanted to share two songs with you--both were recorded during the production of Must Come Down. The first is the full version of "Boy in the Well" that David wrote and to my knowledge recorded for the first and only time during this very take. It is very special to me, as it sort of became my personal anthem during production. On the second or third day of shooting, when everyone on set was still adjusting to the chaos and long hours and finding their collaborative rhythm, we shot this take. Being the considerate gent that he was, and not wanting to waist precious production minutes, David was determined to nail it in one go. And he did--the moment he began to play, the room swelled. The song had a calming effect on everyone there to hear it. Afterward, I listened to the song each night as I drove home in the wee hours of the morning utterly exhausted and each time it gave me the same wonderful calm. His sigh at the end is relief.

The second video was a surprise to me this evening as it will be for you. I had forgotten that we had recorded a second song on set, and came across this take while looking through the footage. The film only called for one song, but I am so extremely happy to have both. I hope you will enjoy these as much as I have!

Many many thanks and much love,

Kenny
