About this project
Don't forget to check out the updates! Lots of extra photos and videos:
Yay! We reached our goal! My hope is to go a little further to raise enough to cover Kickstarter and Amazon's fee, as well as cover the cost of making all this awesome stuff for you lovely people. That way it doesn't eat into the budget. Let's get to $12,000! We can do it!
About the film:
Ashley is in his late-twenties, Holly is in her early-twenties. They're both very much lost in their individual quarter-life crises. Ashley quit his job to travel in search of clarity. He ventures to his childhood home with plans of breaking-and-entering for the nostalgic rush. Along the way he meets Holly, who, after a short-lived relationship with her restaurant manager, also finds herself jobless and aimless. The film chronicles Holly and Ashley’s brief, odd, hysterical commiseration as grown-up children stumbling through life’s final bout of growing pains.
About the project:
I decided to travel back to my childhood home in search of material for this film. After befriending the current residents of the house, I was given permission to shoot “Must Come Down” in the actual location--the house I grew up in. This is an exciting opportunity that can't be passed up! I was looking at every avenue of finding funds to get this film into production when I came across Kickstarter. I hope this will be a springboard to great things and a supportive community that wants to see creative ideas happen!
Starring: ASHLY BURCH (Hey Ash Whatcha' Playin') and DAVID FETZER (bandmember of Mushman). Produced by: DOMINIC FRATTO (White on Rice) and PATRICK FUGIT (Actor, Almost Famous). Written/Directed/Produced by: KENNY RICHES
This is a grassroots effort to find independent film funding. Thanks to everyone who has pledged! I'm ever so grateful. We still have a few weeks left, who knows, maybe we'll go even further! The budget is super tight, so every extra bit helps.
Thanks for your time. We hope you consider pledging!
