      Hi Keecker,

      Team fundraising is fine , but not at the expense of delaying the project.
      Not sure if you ever thought about this "This product has the specs which are outdated and are from 2014 and not sure with this outdated specs any new customers would be interested in funding the product" and hence my best bet is to upgrade the specs , else you will be scrambling for funds forever and the project will never come to conclusion.

      Please be realistic and market is moving forward with greatest of the specs and these specs are not encouraging for anyone.

      We haven't published any update on the fundraising because the process is still ongoing, so not much to update you on for now.
      The day to day since our last update is mostly demos for investors, talks with our manufacturer to prepare the production and ongoing software improvements.
      We'll keep you updated for any major news on either the start of the production of the fundraising closing!

      i spent 1990 dollars and after long just received a little box with useless things...simply amazing.
      i dont mind to wait, i even don´t mind to wait long but what i really mind is the way the company is delivering the information to those people who funded them and who helped them.
      For me the backers are somehow like stakeholders....if the treat their stakeholder that way...i don´t want to think about the product that finally will be delivered if so.
      Very dissapointed....

      It is one of the worst KS campaign ever, not so much about the delay; but the lack of communication.
      I backed 50-100 $ projects. KS creator would reply to every single comment (see this one for instance: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/alpinelabs/pulse-your-camera-upgraded/comments)
      while here, we had 3 comments in 2016 for the creator, it's less than on Twitter or FB... and they barely properly answered the concerns of the backers.
      for a 2500 pledge, I would expect a reply to every single comments here.
      Keecker may come late or not come, but damn it, what does it cost to check regularly the comment page and communicate better
      If you really thing about backers every single day ("We think about our backers every single day"), have someone within Keecker (a community manager) that logs in every morning on KS and replies; given your FB and Twitter activity, you must have a CM.

      After giving it a though, I'ld not say "customer service"; we are not customer in the traditional way of customer/provider. KS is not ebay or amazon.
      Nevertheless, we are part of the project and we would have (and still) expect more information from creator.
      I still have hope to receive a real homepod.

      Funny thing is there is still no updates aster the last time it's just fake promises. I would love to get my money back at this point. I am just tired of waiting and I am pretty sure there are many more like me who are just tired of waiting.

      As the project is getting delayed the specs are getting outdated and any further delay can cause this product useless and this product can not be compatible with the products in the current market.

      It will be no more than a kids toy or an artifact in one corner of my house.

      Guessing there is going to be a delay again? Understanding not wanting to give dates as not wanting to disappoint. But can you tell us are we expecting it this summer? Fall? Winter? Next year etc.... As last I understood we should be getting our keecker in the next few weeks but with the little comms I'm guessing this means we not going by the original schedule

      A reply from Keecker? Wow, that is a first. I echo Susan's comments. This campaign has been a mess from the moment you took our money. You haven't given a **** (insert any range of expletive here) about the backers. And the biggest kick in the teeth is the massive price discrepancies and the lack of any offer to make that right. Refund the difference between the amount we backed and the retail price of Keecker.

      I and I think others here feel SCAMMED.

      We sincerely apologize for the delay and understand that you've waited very long.

      We've had to reorganize our supply chain after seeing that some subcontractors we had chosen didn’t deliver as expected.

      When we launched on Kickstarter, we wanted to produce in France (see our campaign). After seeing our subcontractors couldn’t deliver what we expected and learning so much about the hardware market, we shifted our strategy and decided to produce in Asia (as every hardware company out there). The best manufacturers in the world are located there: they make higher quality products, faster and cheaper than anywhere else. It’s true that because of this, it took us more time to get where we are now, but we didn’t have a choice as our French partners didn’t deliver the expected quality.

      This is one of the reasons why we were able to make Keecker more affordable, at a price we would never have imagined 1 year ago. We feel really really sad when reading some of you think we’ve lied or tried to rip them off.

      If we knew we’d be able to sell Keecker at $1,490 back in November 2014, we’d have set the rewards at a much cheaper price. We’d have raised way more money with a smaller price: many more people would have backed us! It would have been an even greater success for us! We hope everyone understands it’s nonsense to think that we’ve lied.

      The price change is just the result of our strategic change and learning curve along the development process.

      As you’ve seen in our last update videos, today Keecker is fully functional and is one of the most amazing products on the market. It’s not been built by Google or Apple but by our small team and we believe it’s a great achievement.

      We're doing everything we can to make better and more frequent updates and make it up to you.

      When I supported Keecker on Kickstarter, here is what I pledged:

      Then, I was asked if I would wait longer, and I'd receive a bunch of other perks because of the wait, and told I would receive it in March. Now, it's almost a year later, and I still haven't received it. To make things worse, when I pledged, you said the Keecker would retail for $5,000, and I'd be saving $2,500. That's why people invest early - to save and provide support. Now, I see on your website that you are selling Keecker for $1,490. So basically, I paid and extra $1,000 for something that I've had to wait for over a year. Basically, you're ripping off the people who supported you in the first place. That is fraud. I would like a full refund of my investment as it was all a lie. I feel like I've been totally ripped off. I was told we got the extras because we waited a year - I would never pay an additional $1,000 for the extras (shipping, a carrying case and extra port) - that's a lot of money. The only reason I paid what I did in the first place, is because we were told the price would be $5,000. When can we get our refunds? Thanks.
      PS - for all you other backers who are as angry about this as I am, I will be going to the press if I don't hear back within a couple of weeks - I am a filmmaker and know a lot of press outlets. Let me know if you'd like to get on board.

      Last update talked about better more regular comms. Been over a month now and not get anything. Ideally I like in written the new updated specs and demo. Recommended again some sort of forum for us to ask questions in better format. Also be good way for you to drum up new pre orders build up but of buzz

      I also felt the price change is too much of a difference to be a backer if they was to lower the price from the target amount. I'm sure everyone would have waited for the preorder to get instead of backing it here. It would make more sense to partial refund us the price difference as it isn't what the stated amount any longer. Normally that is what it's suppose to be for product that is release, when the price drop, they would give us back the difference. Or maybe put the difference price into another unit maybe?!!!

      @Charles - Keecker are too busy showing off their device at tech shows to reply and update the backers that made it possible to get this far. I really don't understand how they can not see a problem with backers backing a project that is going to cost $1000 less to ordinary customers once they FINALLY launch it.

      @Keecker - i will be filing my chargeback claim on Friday. Up to you whether you try and resolve this issue before then. If i have to file a chargeback it will be for the full pledge and not the difference.

      I promised myself and the Keecker product manager who called me last fall I will not complain or ask for updates anymore.
      However, I have been promised there will be no delays, and yet there is another delay. And Tom D. has a very valid point, I pledge $2490 for a hardware that will worth retail $1500, can't you see guys I feel fooled for backing you up? Fine I'll get some accessories, but when I buy a $1500 appliance, I don't feel like spending an extra $1000 for accessories.... I'ld rather pay $1500 only.
      By the way, I backed other projects at $100, the guys take the time to respond to each and every comments.... I would expect for a $2500 project you call us to respond to each comment...
      I guess that's the difference between US customer service and French customer service....
