Angel Rose goes out into the world...
So, a week after the release to Kickstarter backers and Angel Rose is now fully out in the wilds of frontier space - and what a journey it's been already! Early reports from those reading the eBook have been very positive, and I've even had the first 2 complete read reviews on Goodreads:
Dave Vint kindly said "This is an absolutely incredible story. Hilariously, side-splittingly witty..." https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/959387118
And Dave Barker took the time to write a brilliantly thorough review that I thought captured a lot of the themes I was trying to portray. One snippet said "The writing is witty, charming and engaging, with many subtle and some none-too-subtle references and nods to other works of science fiction and fantasy, with a healthy dose of Britishness throughout. This sensibility is perhaps best expressed by the primary planet of the novel, Slough (also a suburban town west of London) whose heavy gravity and depressingly hard industry provide an acute poke at British suburbia." https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/960220078
So if you have yet to pick up your copy of Elite: Mostly Harmless, hopefully those two reviews give you a flavour of what to expect? You can order the eBook (DRM free and in PDF, MOBI & EPUB formats so you can read it on whatever platform you like!) from the Fantastic Books Store right now. You can also pre-order the paperback, hardback and audiobook formats, plus pick up the other 4 books in the Elite Dangerous series presented by Fantastic Books Publishing.
10% of the proceeds for Elite: Mostly Harmless will go to an awesome UK charity called Special Effect, who help adapt video gaming hardware for people with disabilities to use.

Don't forget there are two amazing events coming up where you can pick up signed copies, meet some of the authors and other sci-fi fantastic celebs, plus play the Elite Dangerous game and experience it on Oculus Rift! There's loads more going on at these events so check out the event pages and book your place before they run out!:
One last note to those of you already reading your copies.. I really hope you enjoy the twists and turns and scrapes that Angel and her friends get into... Please do leave a review on GoodReads if you have the time...
Like my errant and often badly behaved heroin, I am not infallible.. so if you do spot any typos or errors I would really appreciate you noting them down and pinging me a message through the Kickstarter platform or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org so I can get them all fixed up!
So, thanks again for all your support. If you have anywhere you can spread the word about the Elite Fiction then please do... the more attention we get the liklier it is Frontier will let us write more fiction to keep you entertained between games..
Read On Commanders :)
